The Guild of Marines
As the title says, welcome! Either you're a prospective member, new member, or a salty veteran--whatever the case, you're here now, and you obviously want to know what we're all about.
This guild is about all things Marine Corps. Whether you're a past/present/future Marine or a terminal civilian, you can join this organization with the proper motivation and know-how. Our aim is to give everyone a better understanding of what the USMC does, and also to have a little fun in the process.
Don't mistake kindness for weakness. This is still technically a military guild, and will be treated as such. We have a strict rank structure, and respect will be given AT ALL TIMES.
So, don't do anything that your First Sergeant wouldn't.
Marines accomplish missions through teamwork. We're not a bunch of Rambo's in digital cammies, we are one unit, one Corps. This is one of the biggest qualities you must have in order to succeed in this guild. Selfishness and problems with authority will only spell disaster, and will get you killed. (Not on here literally, but you get the picture.)
Marines fight, Marines die. We all know this, and respect the fragile nature of life. Therefore, we train to increase our chances for success. Stay active, keep learning, and sharpen your skills.
Don't forget, there is a real war going on. Marines are dying for a war that few support. Do not come on here and expect to push any political garbage in our minds. We are here to support our troops.
