Character Background : Rakash was born out of an unholy union by a Drow and Tiefling, giving him certain abilities unknown to his kind. As his father disappeared right after his birth, his mother tried to raise him on her own. Receiving only harsh treatment of his mother's kind, the tribe decided to sell Rakash into slavery at the age of 10.
Being a half breed most of his masters couldn't handle him and resulted to cruel measures to keep him docile. This gained Rakash a high tolerance of pain but also a deep distrust towards people in general. After killing his last master by accident Rakash fled and wandered around aimlessly until he was adopted by a kind elderly mage who took him into his family and taught him to read and write.
For the first time in his life Rakash knew what it meant to receive kindness and in order to protect his new "family" he started to train with the magical weapons Fara and Icos.
As years went by Rakash lost the " family " one after another. Grieving over the loss of his loved ones and ready to wander the earth once again, he stumbled across the last will of the " family " saying that if he should surpass the family he would find another home at Alta's boarding school.
Contacting the school he was offered the position of security, due to his special talents. He was also offered housing on the school premises and is now making the long trip to start his new position.
