Upon the horizon at the rear of the school, various stones and statuettes dot an eerie myst laiden sky, which is always blanketed by a passionate black quilt of clouds, streaked through what would appear to be a starless night sky - though a pale orb is constantly set, spreading a cold glow throughout the graveyard and even creeping into the various tombs and open graves that litter the landscape. It is beneath these cursed skies and upon this black earth that Amilio V. Crowley takes the Dark Arts class, those who are too afraid to enter the cheerless place will ultimately fail the class, but those willing to embrace the night as Amilio has, will potentially become the greatest weilders of ancient arts.

Not far from the inner edge of the graveyard there stands a crypt unlike the rest, its elaborate design and runed carvings about the green bronze door and indeed the whole building appear to symbolise chains, rarely seen, at the top of the crypt upon its dank and damp roof is a crucifix like sword stabbed in where the runes meet and cross, the sword itself is runed and various unspoken enchantments keep it and it's secret safe. It is in this dark building that Amilio will train his class, as the dark energies bound within the great stone walls will make it easier for even a novice to tap into and channel the shadow magicks of old.

The tombs that are dug out from the bare rock within his cryptic classroom are filled with not corpses, but tomes, scrips, and books of mystical text, various skulls with enchanted carvings on them are placed as book holders on each side, as decoration in an otherwise doom-filled place. Candles are set at various points and give off a dull and eerie glow, though two braziers are constantly lit at the back of the room - providing heat and most of the given light.

The 'teacher's desk' is an old sacreficial slab with rusting iron shackles still in the corners, blood stains where perhaps virgins, animals, *cough* Goblins, had been sacreficed - the stains reveal various etches where ceremonial daggers and blades have been plunged far too deep maybe... a curious table indeed. The desks are mostly just long wooden tables with simple chairs, seating at least four to a desk, but some nearer the front are quite obviously coffins... probably occupied hah..hah..hah...

Not feeling very safe in this dark environment, Seirin kept reminding herself that she was only talking this class to learn how the dark arts worked so if she ever encountered any, she would know what to do. Entering the room gave her chills and it didn't get any better as she took in the surroundings...This is probably the creepiest room I have ever seen she said to herself and her fingers closed harder around her bag as she carefully walked around and tried to find a seat...omg...are those real coffins?..saying under her breath as she moved backwards and away from them before sitting down unnervingly.

There is a cool breeze from the front desk, the candles flicker briefly and illuminate Amilio's face for a moment, where it is apparent that he's watching silently from the looming black shadow surrounding the alter where he sits. He stares out into the dim classroom with a curious grin on his face. He says nothing and doesn't react the pupils who enter.

What's up with him then? Seirin though while leaning on her hands looking at him....Odd looking fellow too...isn't he too young to be a teacher?..As all kinds of questions entered her mind she noticed something moving out of the corner of her eyes, but when she turned her head to take a look she found herself staring at a candle instead. Tilting her head she kept staring into the flames, the soft flickering bringing her slowly in a trance

Seductive whispers circled the classroom, all the candles flickered as a gust of cool, fresh wind whisped about - Amilio stood at the doorway with a book held under his arm, the light revealed where the figure resembling him once sat was now a skelital corpse, and in fact had been since before class even started. He walked toward his chair and the skeliton seemed to get up and slump down, lifeless as before, in the corner hugging a large candlestick with one arm all on it's own, it's head bowed. Amilio took his seat and put his book down onto his alter-desk.

"Ave class... I'm Mr. C, and what you saw before you just then was an illusion of shadow, and a manipulation of light to trick the eye. Er, the skeliton is quite harmless and inanimate without the appropriate spells. Any questions before we begin?"

-appered standing in the shadow corners of the classroom- some class -said with complete sarcasim-
PostPosted: Tue Jun 12, 2007 7:16 pm

"What can I say, my department had budget cuts and I had to supply most of this crap myself... it cost them an arm and a leg!" an echoing moan and piercing cackling, the noise of heavy chains being dragged off a surface comes seemingly from within the damp, mossy walls, Amilio leans down with his head in his hands pushing his hair back, laughing to himself like a psychopath. " ...You're all familiar with the shadow arts, aren't you? Through study or inheritance? " his eyes shift to the guy sitting at the coffin when he mentions the latter. He clears his throat and continues ; "Either way, you're all here to enhance those skills. Dark Magic is the harnessing of morbid energy, corrupt, negative energy - and the clean energies of shadow and night. Indeed some of our Night Skills are used for cleansing, healing, building, productive arts, and even ressurrection... of sorts. We'll even learn some Nosferatu Death Magic arts - for kicks and giggles? To save your lives, and to take the lives of others. You don't need to be vampire to attune their magics, as you don't need to have a black soul to learn even the greatest arts of the Black." he glances most obviously at Seirin and then he lifts the book off his desk and opens the page, marked with a little blue post-it-note, and begins to read himself... appearing to have forgotten about the class he's taking.

Kaleb walks in the room and sits next to rin and then shivers at the sight of the class. He whispered to Rin, "So what's taught here?"

His eye rolled up from the page in his book to stare a hard focus on the spectre with ants-in-his-pants, Amilio stood up and slammed the book down on the alter before him - blood dust, and ash forming a cyclone around his hand and forearm where his palm is pressed against the book. He says in a tongue older than the walls of Hell a dark binding curse against Goth - dark energies running down the walls like rivers, invisible to those untrained in the sacred art, and dripping like rain from the ceiling to channel into a singular orb around him.

Amilio raises his other hand and appears to be gripping before him, it's only a matter of time before he seals this incantation most foul ; he doesn't say the binding word for poor Goth's will could be stuck in a dark plane for many an aeon in his mind, though only a few moments in our time - the energy shoves against Vi, enough to nudge her desk to the side an uncontrolable effect from the dark sphere, collateral damage being held to the minimum but even so other desks are moved and worked in an awe inspiring display of power over the shadow.

He keeps his focus on Goth, and the sphere dissolves into the shadows - Amilio's hand relaxed and released from the spell, and the magic energy leaving no residual trace save the looks on his student's faces and the various strange noises from unlit corners in his classroom, he sits back down and claws the book closer to him, reading from it he says ; "Binding curses are known to be the greatest and strongest binds, there is unquestioned proof that to use the very void to imprison your foes can be so much more effective than simple iron bars or chains. I demonstrated on our very own Goth here, as he can't seem to STAY... STILL!" lifting slamming the side of his fist down on the book - don't worry there's no magic this time! "Anyway, regardless of his evident lack of respect this isn't an ettiquete class nor a daisy chain lesson, indeed you should feel free to explore this crypt as it holds many dark secrets that will help you to tune in your elemental darkness." he took a deep breath and looked around the room for about a minute in silence "...You will find books and such that will directly tell you the different ways to harness the corrupt energies, or the pure energies of darkness. Unforunately most of the Shadow disciplines are summoned from arcane tomes and fettishes, you'd do well to decide on your own fettish or wand, the trees above us are bursting with the souls of the departed - which can be used as currancy to 'pay' for your spells also. Indeed a small branch from one of these trees should suffice for many a week of dark casting. Within the Library are various spellbooks and writings of the accursed, the afflicted, and the damned - if you'd feel better carrying a musty old book around than a wand then you know where to look. Bones of fairly bad people also carry their evil taint, although I would advise against graverobbing as it's frowned upon... at least by those with the required flesh upon their brow and indeed working nerves to frown - the ones who don't frown are the ones I'd like to keep from getting angry with you, that's all.

Oh... one more thing about taking the bones of the dead, I ask you not to take from the dead of this crypt. They're far from skelital anyway, the bones in here you can do as you want with, they're not originally of this crypt, they were... visitors, or visited? No matter - just don't disturb the coffins.
"

Still slightly dazed by the soft mesmerizing effect of the candle she looks at Kaleb...Dark Arts......But it seems that Mr.C has forgotten all about us though..saying as she watches the teacher's appearance trying to find the differences between him and the skeleton and got more intrigued as she had to admit that she couldn't.

*laughs insanely at his show of power*
you should have finished! i would LOVE to see what happens to a person when that binding spell is complete! twisted
bsides if it involves anything that has to do w/ the shadows then it wont effect me in the least...
and if you realy wanted me to sit still..you could just ask..no need to take defensive measures to make everyone know that you are stronger then them..or me..for i dont care in the least how strong you are...*continues to laugh insanely*
