What's your opinion on dubbin'? Is subbing (adding subtitles) better confused ?
Personally I just like watching the subbed versions of certain anime (like Shakugan no Shana) rather than the dubbed versions because sometimes the english companies really mess it up sad . Kinda like how they did Cardcaptor Sakura (not only did they change the name to "Cardcaptors," but they also made a really dumb opening song fer it as well xp ).

I like funimation. They dub well and give great extra's. Shuffle is safe in their hands.
Geneon however...
You only have to worry about 4kids screwing up. It's what they're programmed to do.

I prefer the subbing, listening to it in Japanese and reading the subs is better than listening to it in English and having it screwed up.

I guess I'll always like subs better too. But sometimes, if done right, dubs can be enjoyable too.

With English dubs, there would be no Kugimiya Rie. Awesomeness level drops 30%.
Speaking of other series--sometimes I see dubs that are actually better than the original audio and script, but that's pretty rare. Shinesman is the only series that comes to mind whenever I'm asked this.

I think it depends...for cardcaptor sakura, the Japanese with subtitles is the best, but for some others, I prefer english...It's my language, and I want to hear it. >w<

I can tell what's going on this time
Japanese with Subs xD I mean even though it strains my eyes to read and watch it at the same time, it brings more of a mystery and some other stuff that makes the Japanese language so great. And I think the Japanese language is more sophisticated and high class than English for some reason.
And I've rarely seen a good dubbed anime. Maybe some of those Adult Swim anime. xD like Inyuyasha and FMA. But BLEACH! They screwed bleach for real....
There's a stranger in my life

I never watch any of the anime on TV... I mainly watch subs and the occasional dubs like Full Metal Panic. Chris Patton does a good Sousuke, even better than the japanese VA IMO.
