This may be awkward to some, but I really don't care so I'm gonna ask anyway. blaugh Do any of you girls have trouble concentrating and controling your powers during your monthly cycle? sweatdrop It just seems to do this to me, is there a particular reason for it? It either feels like there's a big blockage or I just lose direction over my energy and it won't go where I want it to. Any one else have trouble with this? (not guys, obviously. sweatdrop )

I think it probably effects everyone differently. I have trouble regulating my blood sugar when I'm menstrating, and since the spirit is connected to the body, I would assume that it could effect others in the way you describe.
On the other hand, it might be your blood sugar is effecting your concentration?

*shrug* I dunno. That seems a bit unlikely, on account I have extreme sugar-to-salt cravings. Therefore I ingest lots of chocolate. xd Chocolate is a girl's best friend! blaugh But yeah, I see what you mean.
I came up with a theory shortly after my post, (at least for my own situation.) I am mainly an empath, so I deal with reading and manipulating the emotions. As you know it's common that being on one's period can effect a girls emotions. (Usually it does not do this to me much except for the occasional subtle change like me being frustrated for no apparent reason.) But anyway, since I am mostly empathic, I think it effects me just enough to stunt my powers a little for a few days. Not sure if this is accurate... just a hunch. 3nodding

I can understand that- I feel like a kitten fro eight days once a month >.<
Can't do anything useful beyond speaking to my guides and flicking teeny tiny energy balls at people.
I'm an empath too and for the first few days of me being a 'girl', I have these horrible, unpredictable feelings running all through me. Don't know if my bloodsugar/bloodstuffs affect me but sheesh >.< Glad it only happens once a month, tell you that much.

Heh. It certainly affects my mood. And it seems I'm actually much stronger on the empath side during the "joyous" time of the month. It's really quite strange. sweatdrop

Sad to say, I don't pay attention much... I mean, My time of the month involves crippling pain... But, now that I'm thinking about it, I reach out to my guardian angel more during those times and I feel a lot of comfort coming from him. Of course, God only knows if that isn't my mind playing tricks on me. I mean, I'm pretty messed up during that time...

I can't focus enough to try practicing telekinesis during that time, mainly because of the pain and the fact that if I do try, I end up losing faith... sweatdrop

I really never pay attention. I just try to grin and bear it and ignore the accursed time. Once the moodiness goes away (lol, about 1/2 of that is actually empathy plus PMS...) I really just kind of ignore it and go on with my day, psychic AND regular.

Given that during menstrulation you sense do get heightened like smelling and cravings, similar to when your pregnant, makes sense to me.

I haven't been working with my powers for very long now, and certainly not long enough to go through cycle, but I can't concentrate on anything during that agonizing week. So, I bet having my "friend" over would mess up my control.

I do get a bit messed up. Normaly, my dog just listens to me, almost at thought, and I can normaly tell how she feels as well, but right now, when it's the time for my attitude to shift from a soft, happy mouse to a deadly, blood-stained razor, I've lost all connection with her. She doesn't listen to me AT ALL, and I can no longer tell what she's about to do. I can't find ANYTHING I'm looking for. So, I guess the answer to your question is, no, it's not just you.
