How to Roleplay
I realize that some people who join this guild don't exactly know what roleplaying is. I was once a newbie myself ;]. So, I decided to make this How to. Please, if you're new, take a look. I think you'll find this sticky quite helpful.
FIRST:
When you are going to join a Roleplay Thread, read the first post [or several, in some cases] in that post there should be instructions on how to go about joining that particular roleplay. DO NOT skip over the rules, most users hide secret messages in the rules that tell you how to join.

SECOND:
Make a profile/bio. All roleplays, except for ones with premades, require a profile/bio of your character. In certain roleplays that require that you make your own character they will provide a profile/bio skeleton that you will use to make you profile/bio. Like this, for example.

Character Name:
Age:
History:
Skills:
Now, submit it to the User by PM or any other way they have told you to do it in their set of rules for their roleplay.

THIRD:
Okay, I'm assuming now that you've been accepted to the roleplay, and the User has posted the first post. Now, write your post! Writing a post really isn't all that hard. Think of how a book is written, like a story. Form sentences and dialogue that you think your character would say/act. Okay, example time!
Arisu flinched and pulled her injured arm closer to her shaking body as she looked up at her personal tyrant, "W-why?" She choked out, her voice laced with fear.
Now, wait for the next person to post before you do and there you have it! You now know have to roleplay. So, get going! :]
