Complaints/Issues/Suggestions Alright, if you have any complaints at all, or issues that you feel need to be dealt with, please post them here. I cannot promise I'll be able to do anything about some complaints, but I will try my hardest to resolve them. I'm not terribly fond of the huge list of things that are required to be at the start of each thread. Profiles and settings I understand, even though I have more than enough fine RPs with no sort of introduction. But the rest of it just seems like overkill. Especially the Mythical Creatures subforum, it requires three separate posts before you even start to roleplay, along with an approval of the roleplay. I have never seen such ridiculous requirements in my entire long career of forum roleplaying.
And I also don't understand something: Is each subforum moderated by a separate person? And are they all making their own rules for each subform? Is that why there is a rules post in each one? Is that why there is an approval thread in only one of them?
It's a terribly confusing system, especially because it isn't outlined or explained anywhere. Honestly I have no idea what's going on with the sub forums, and a lot of the roleplays that I have don't seem to fit in any of them because the subforms have to do with specific types of characters and my roleplays are geared toward settings.
Its fine to have them all moderated by separate people to share the load, but I don't think it's very smart to have different rules and requirements for each of them, that is like making each of them a separate guild entirely. It's confusing to have to figure out, and probably even harder to keep it all strait.
I'm sorry if it seems like I'm insulting the way that your guild is run, but this is just my opinion, and I am certain that other people may share it as well.

Actually, I completely understand where you are coming from. And yes, I do prefer to have separate Mods. for each Sub forum, that way it's regulated easier, and I don't have to kill myself checking up on each sub forum. As for the rules, I initially wanted to post the same rules in each sub forum, and had every intention of doing so, but at the time I created this Guild, I was quite busy, and didn't have time to pay attention to it. Now that I do, and I'm revamping the entire guild, that is exactly what I intend to do. I just haven't gotten around to deleting the old posts in the sub forums.
As for the required list. They don't all have to be in separate posts, you can post everything in one post, if you like. There is reasoning behind this as well, for I'm a very organized person, and I like things to look neat and pretty - and easy to understand. I never felt it was complicated, but I guess it depends on what you're used to. I, personally, don't like roleplays that have no setting/plot, and all the character profiles are posted randomly about. It annoys me, and I feel it's very complicated/disorganized.
I'm still working on the sub forums, and stuff. I'm sorry that you were confused/frustrated.
Don't worry, I'm not at all insulted. I'm happy, actually, that you brought the different rules for each sub forum to my attention. I never really realized that having the Mods. make their own rules from each sub forum would be so confusing. For that, I thank you. However, I still feel that detailed plot/summery/profile skeleton/etc. is necessary.

Not really a complaint or issue... I just had an idea for an RP, and didn't know which subforum to put it under. It's sort of like Lost, but only the first season, since we don't want it to get complicated. Sort of reminiscent of Gilligan's Island, as a few boys (however many people join) are being transported by boat to a private boy's school. However, the boat never makes it - they are all shipwrecked on an uncharted island. Like the Lord of the Flies, but there aren't that many kids, and it turns into an island orgy! >< Not really. They just all hook up - this is a yaoi RP guild, after all.
So my question is, where should I put this RP? And do you think anyone would be interested?

I suggest the Action/Adventure subforum, your idea just seems more like a little adventure of its own. And I do believe people would be interested, I know I am. But really in general we need more rp's in this guild, so please go right ahead and make it. Also once your done, I suggest posting that in the Active Roleplays thread.

I'm assuming this is the right forum to post this in...
But I actually also own a yaoi roleplaying guild, and I was wondering if we might be able to affiliate? There's only two posting members at the point in time, excluding myself, but there are a couple of roleplays open and I'll soon be setting up a new subforum to allow members to make their own unique roleplays which, if they attract enough attention, may warrant their own subforum. I'd love for some of the guys here to wander over there as well and vice versa. We yaoi guilds need to stick together!
