The arena just outside the borders of the Village Hidden in the Mist was packed full of spectators. A young woman with long silver hair was sitting in the commentators booth with headphones over her ears. She was humming a song when she noticed how many people had arrived. "Oh!" she said, and turned the microphone on.
"Welcome violence fans! Today is the title match between Atsuro Kiatsu and Signorino Kazuma, two jounin, both top contenders for the rank of Mizukage. I'm your host, Adlan Ichikawa, with all the updates!" she said a bit bored.

Kazuma walked into view. He thought to himself, "she sounds way to bored to be presiding over the match for the title of mizukage."
He was actually a bit nervous. He knew of the bloodline limit abilities he was about to face. Yet still, he was completly confident in his skills. Honed by his family and clan, they are as powerful as any bloodline limit. He ran his hand over the hilt of his katana,
"the blue eye", called so because it shone blue in the moonlight, or in the dim light of the mist village he called home.
Kazuma looked around to see the spectators, the people who he wanted to lead, he was here to earn his birthright as a Signorino, he was here to become mizukage.
He looked down the field toward his only rival. This one man was the only thing in his way. He spoke:
"There's just one obstacle left... No matter what stands in my way, I will use my power without hesitation... whatever is in my path, no matter how unsurmountable... I WILL BREAK THROUGH!!!"

A bit more excited now, Adlan adjusted herself in her seat. "Well, it looks like Kazuma is all fired up now! I wonder how his opponent will react to this!"

Elias watched the sands as the spun in a small whirwind as his feet. As nervous as he should be, he couldn't quite feel anything but chakra flowing through his veins, not unusual for him. He felt it flow through him, practicing in the moments before the fight by moving his "aura" out of his fingers and back in while the crowd whispered in anticipation.
He turned his head towards his opponent, chakra still pulsing through his fingertips. He was ready for anything. This was what his clan had been looking forward since his birth, a mizukage to represent the lowliest of the families. It was his duty to bring his family power, and he would do anything to achieve his goal.
"I'm ready." He said, in an unusually gruff voice from a ninja such as he. Maybe he was slightly nervous.

((i have questions that i will post here. sweatdrop
Please elaborate on the arena. What is in it, how big, the kind of info a ninja uses. Oh and about the system, is there a way to defend against damage, or is it a just sit there and take your licks kind of fight?))

(( It's going to be like the stadium from the chunnin exams. Um...approx. 2000 sq. ft., with 20 ft walls surrounding the ring. The floor is made of dirt, and there are large shoots of bamboo planted along the ring. And we're just going to get rid of the system and make it a regular rp. I will be the judge...but you might have to wait till I get back from vacation unless Akuma wants to do it...))

Tetsu appeared next to Adlan in a burst of fire, his clan's bloodline. "what'd i miss?" he muttered to the woman. Looking out at the arena he realized that he was just on time. "wow, i think that might be a first, i didn't even arrive on time when i died! and Kami was pissed for that." He plopped down next to the woman and took a nearby mike out of its holder, "well, ladies and gentlemen shall we get the contenders ready to duke it out?" his question was met with a deafining roar from the crowd. "alright then, Mizukage hopefuls, GET READY!"

Kazuma looked up at the speaker's box, at this new voice.
"That's the spirit," he thought.
Looking back to his opponent, he revved up his chakra.
"I'm MORE than ready over here!"

Elias crossed his arms as his chakra found its way up his body, twisting around his body in flames dancing across the surface of his skin.
"Ready to begin" He said, again to no one in particular.

((sorry Blaster, thats not my expertice. thats steph's job, seeing as she's been on gaia for a year longer or so than me, i just run the guild, she thought up the idea. i just wanted it to be like RP, like a fanfic or a story or something.))
Tetsu nodded, "alright you two, at the count of three! ichi! ni! san! BEGIN! HAJIME!"

Oturan Revved up his chakra, the blue aura circled his body for a moment, then dissapeared as he started his jutsu.
"I wont start small! Here I come!"
And with a few handsings he yelled, "Hidden Mist Jutsu!"
Suddenly, a thick fog covvered the arena, so thick you could barley see ten feet.
Oturan began his scilent hunt. He threw three kunai knives at where his opponent was still standing.

The kunais were thrown skillfully and would have hurt Elias more than he would have liked if he was still standing where His opponent thought he was. But he wasn't, and the kunai knives flew into the mist, missing him by several feet. Hoping this mist hid him as well as it did his opponent, he formed a series of three seals, feeling the chakra rush through his blood and out through his palms.
Angel Strike Jutsu
The blast soared through the mist in the direction he though he saw the kunai knives come from. Wasting no time, he formed another seal, and again felt the chakra fush through his veins. Three shurikens formed in each hand, pulsing a lightning blue. He threw them in a fan shape, spread out in a cone area behind the blast.

Kazuma was able to see and dodge the bright explosion, but he hadnt counted on the shurikens behind it. One grazed his right arm. the cut wasnt deep though, but it bled slightly.
Kazuma got back his poise, and used the mist to creep closer and closer to his opponent.
Kazuma's mist was thick indeed, it would hide him, while he could sense his opponent's chakra, he kept his low to prevent his opponnet from doing the same. He silently brought himself within missle distance.
"Your bloodline limit will be your undoing," Kazuma said in a voice that sounded to his opponent like it came from everywhere,"Water doppleganger!"
Four bodies (the clones) surrounded his opponent. One slashed forward with its katana, from the left.
