What do you think of the items we have so far gained from these outside-sponsor quests? Do you have favorites? Are you annoyed by any? Discuss all such quests here!

I myself liked the Mimzy, and am well pleased with the Magnifying Glass, the Detective Kit, and most of all, the Syaoran's Cape! xd I am not particularly interested in the Soccer Ball, nor have I been in Towns to try rolling one about. It does look amusing on Eirwyn's hat, I must say. smile Overall, I am in favor of these quests. They earn Gaia money which they need, and we gain free and sometimes excellent items from them.
Each quest can be done three times now, and I have collected my limit each time. In future when these items are no longer free and have gained value, I shall make prizes of them.

 As I am not in Gaia as a full-fledged avatar as you are, Oscar, I do not have use for these things. The cape does suit you very well, though. You're looking much as you do when you go Monster-Hunting now!
I've noticed that new forest-green truck you claimed as well. I can't see you either racing it or showing it! biggrin

The Mimzy items were cute. I think it would be interesting if the flashlight could be used in the towns at night. I'm saving the cape for cooler weather and Halloween. Not certain about the brooches, though.

 Well, that's a Gaia Story Event rather than a Sponsor Event, though. No one is giving them money to do this & gain advertising for a line of jewelry, say.
I think it's mostly happening to stir things up a bit, get people thinking about the Gaia Plot again & discussing it in the GCD & other places.
I wonder if in fact anything will happen on Friday, being the 13th & a full moon? xd

I enjoy the quests. Mimzy is my favorite, as you can tell since I keep him?her? with me all the time. Roly Poly is especially fond of Mimzy. I, too, wish the flashlight could be used in the Towns; and I agree that the cape is a wonderful addition to Sir Oscar's attire.
It seems as though a lot of people in the GCD have missed having additions to the story line. The new quest should make them happy. I have not quested for the orchid corsage, but Adam's sponsor, Miradora is wearing one.
I also must confess that I enjoy going to the Gaia movie theater and throwing popcorn. It reminds me of the occasional doings in our League dining hall! biggrin

Is the "Secret Message" quest still available? We have extras of the orchid brooch if not.
We only have one Blood Brooch, not wishing to offer excessive support to the Van Helsons.
I rather think they are VAMPIRES. :X But what do vampires want with gold? What are they scheming?
There will be much evil afoot come this Halloween, mark my words!

Hm! I think Syaoran's Goggles from the third Tsubasa Quest are rather good and versatile.... I wonder if we shall gain any sort of weapon from this line of quests in future? There is a handsome sword and staff shown on the Profile.
Now we are about to have a whole series of quests for the game "Magic the Gathering". I rather hope the others will be better than the first--Eirwyn looks quite forbidding at the moment wearing it, but it is not so very different from the Soot Face, which she is also wearing beneath it for smoke effects.

This is interesting. I returned to my profile after doing the DC rounds this morning. Here I am tonight visiting my profile once more and discovered a few surprises. I got DC prizes from Marketplace and News & Events (both gave me 5 gold).
Then, for giggles and grins, I did the Tsubaso (sp?) quiz again and won another set of goggles. In fact, I've earned a total of 3 goggles from the quiz tonight. I wonder if these are glitches in the format change?

You mean more beyond the three times we are all allowed to do quests? Very strange.
How do you like the new orbs from the Magic the Gathering quest? It doesn't seem quite right that the Swamp Orb is still there; after all, everyone got that one three times over already. Eirwyn ended up with the following: Swamp, Forest, Forest. We hope Oscar or Whatsit will get at least one of the third orb!
At the moment Eirwyn seems to be growing a broccoli garden on her shoulder! lol

It had to be a Gaia glitch. It was during the time they were switching over to the format. My friends and I got even more swamp orbs. sad Pooling our orbs, we only received 6 island and forest orbs.
I did notice the green plant on Eirwyn's shoulder earlier, Furamir. What exactly was that thing? confused

That was from the Forest Orb. I suppose it's meant to be a small tree, but people are calling it "broccoli" in the Forums. lol
What do you think of the new sponsor and quest items from the past week?
I think the "bling" is atrocious--like going about with a huge, ugly billboard around your neck. :X The Blue Dragon Tail is very interesting however, and I have seen several Gaians wearing them.

I must say, all of us here are finding the Magic:the Gathering Quest to be growing increasingly annoying. They seem to be making the Swamp Orb more and more common in every new step!
Both Eirwyn and Doctor_Whatsit received exactly the same thing for this third part as they did for the last one--in other words, not a single new orb even though TWO new ones are added. As for myself...last time I was given two Island and one Forest. This time, I received TWO Swamp Orbs and one Island Orb. Once again, NO NEW ORBS! :X

The Wrestling items were rather interesting, though of no use to me, and we have a second cloak from the Tsubasa quest series. I wonder if they will ever give the staff or sword one can see on the Tsubasa Profile?
