I was wondering if anyone remembers or liked Save Ferris. They were one of my favorite ska bands. They were also one of the few ska bands that was fronted by a girl. They made great music and two great CDs.
I saw them in concert a bunch of years back and even met the lead singer, Monique Powell. I got my picture taken with her. smile
Then one day I go to their website and there's this big letter basically saying about how their breaking up. Tragedy! It's so lame that that had to happen. I love Save Ferris. Now they're gone. sad
Anyone else like them? Did you ever seem them play?

I downloaded some Reel Big Fish.
one of the Tracks was Come on Eileen.
I knew it wasn't RBF and it sounded familier.
it's a Good song.
Listening to it now actually.

Yeah, Save Ferris did that. The leader singer of Save Ferris sang in a Reel Big Fish song ; "She Has a Girlfriend Now."
That's a really good song.

they were ok. i never quite understood why people loved them so much. I always kinda thought of them as No Doubt 2.0 Monique is a good singer, but their two popular albums just dont stand out to me.
