I've found this rather interesting because our other forum has many MtFs and very few FtMs and yet this place is the exact opposite. Strange how that came about. *shrugs*

It's odd, really. MtFs are by far the majority, but FtMs are really vocal in my experience.

A few of our MtFs on our other forum have mentioned being afraid of outing themselves here and that they feel safer on our other forum so that might be it as well. Our other forum has a locked female only area that is open to MtFs and we treat everyone by their chosen genders so that might be why the MtFs there don't want to come here. *shrugs*
Anyways, I'm glad you are all here and I hope we can make you feel comfortable here.

Well... I have noticed in my short time here that there seems to be a larger population of FtMs than MtFs. Dont quite know why though. :/ I happen to be MtF myself but I try to keep it so that people just see me as a "normal" girl. Hence forth, if Im new to a group that doesnt publicly say they accept people who may be transgender I introduce myself as a girl (course I am a girl but a "normal" girl). By the way, when I say "normal" girl I mean I biologically born female. But anyway, I am MtF! Just to let you know. ^-^

I'm MtF. I'm a confusing MtF though, since I always acted more like a boy when I was younger. It was because I was naive about my feelings genderwise and was convinced I was a boy, despite having strange feelings inside. But yeah, i'm still butch, but definately more comfortable as a woman. That and my boyfriend right now makes me feel soo much like a woman! ^_^

That and my boyfriend right now makes me feel soo much like a woman! ^_^ ^-^ I was the same way. When I was little I used to wear camo and army things. I have to say that truthfully... I looooooove the action of it. Parents usually try to use that to say "But you acted like a boy when you were little. So you are a boy." The perfect counter argument "But I was merely running toward normal. Normal as in what is the norm in society. I finally gave up and showed the normal in me. Me being a girl is normal for me."
^^' Now that I just went all out there way off topic... let me get back to it. I was the same was as you, I was ignorant of gender. I acted the way I saw the other kids who looked like acted though I loved to have tea parties (with water as the tea ^-^) and play with barbies when I was little. Also, when we played house I always wanted to be the mom, if not the mom then the kitty. Now, I am much more girly than I am butch (I dont think I am butch at all) and Im darn glad to finally be able to express myself a bit more.

A little off topic, but what do people think of collars =X like cat, dog, fetish, etc. collars? I wear a cat collar with a bell and at times people give strange looks or comment about it.

Yeah I am MTF....pre everything.
so i am still boyish. Although I do not have problems telling anyone. I understand though how some people can be secretive about because of society these days.
