What have you been practicing a lot lately? I personally have been experimenting with rolls. I'm also working on the Steve Gadd piece, "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover"

Fills. Man I don't know why but I have trouble with them. Plus "Basket Case" by Green Day, "Faint" by Linkin Park, And "The Diary of Jane" by Breaking Benjamin.

I don't focus enough I gradually do what I feel when I go out to practice...bad habbit but I can focus sometimes. I'm working on trying to get really tasty shuffle grooves down...and occasionally I work on my hands and try to get the one handed roll down again...I have lots of trouble with that for some reason.

Mostly double bass drumming-triplets, sixteenths, and broken sixteenth patters. It's my goal to get my double bass sixteenths up to 180 bpm by the end of august...I have a long way to go Also I've been doing a lot of single stroke rolls and double stroke rolls...im trying to get my single stroke rolls quick and precise, and my doubles to sound even
Oh yeah, and solos twisted Id like to be able to play amazing structured solos like neil peart

Yeah, Neil Peart rules. His set is incredible, too. It's got gold cymbal stands and gold rims. Lucky punk. xd
