my friends always ask me if my guy friends shave. arrghhhh.. it absolutely annoys the crap out of me sooo much. sometimes i get so annoyed i tell them to go ask themselves.

Basically any conversation I have with non-swimming folk always ends in..
".....yes I'm on the team stare ..... " They don't take me seriously because I'm short, I just know it!!

The most annoying question I get is, "are you the best on the team?" I've already told them time after time, but they keep asking me. It all depends on the stroke. I kinda wish they'd die when they ask...

I always get asked when I'm going to the olympics. They think because I swim on the university team that I am of olympic calibre >.<
Or better yet, when I go to a swim meet they ask "Did you win?"

Seripha I always get asked when I'm going to the olympics. They think because I swim on the university team that I am of olympic calibre >.< Or better yet, when I go to a swim meet they ask "Did you win?" lol, I got asked if I was going to go to the Olympics today durning art class... I'm only first year in high school... Such insanity... I'm nothing compared to the the Olympians... ><, just another question to add to the list of stupid questions...

yeah.. i get all of those... i also get the whole "so aren't you grossed out by all the guys in speedos?" or "do all the guys were speedos"
*sigh* and i get the olympic one all the time too... NO! i'm not at a div. one school, i'm not that fast! gar.. oh wells.. then they ask the dreaded "is the pool heated" i'm swimming from sept-march (yeah that's the season) and they think it wouldn't be heated stare .. it's an outdoor pool.. oh wells...

They allways ask me "Did you win" too and yet I've told tem so many times that there is more than one event but they keep on forgeting...I'm not sure how cus I usually have a meet 1 or 2 times a month stare . But I think they are starting to get the point that I'm not THE best just beacause I'm the only swimmer at my school.

oh.. i have another one
during the big big high school swim meets, we always miss school. people always ask.. where were you? you got to miss school? what did you do? etc..etc.. etc.. and then they repeat all the questions that have already been mentioned here..

musicaldiva wow, and I thought I had it bad... thankfully big meets only come around bout once every other month or so.. or at the end of the season w/ districts, regionals, and state. (for high school)
