The Gardens
The gardens are the most common place visited in the main SAL building. Towards the front, the pathway is brick laid in careful patterns, fringed on the sides by boxwood trees and carefully-trimmed blackberry bushes perfect for young boys to nibble from when the berries are ripe. Further back, the path splits in two.
The left fork goes over to a patch of grass shaded by a large oak tree, perfect for youngsters and lovers alike to lay and play under in spring, summer, and fall, and perfect for building snowmen under in the winter. Just over by the stone wall are two patches of berries, one of strawberries and one of blueberries, perfect for children and adults alike to nibble at. Further surrounded the little area are rose bushes in many colors, and seperating it from the next is a tall trelace-style fence covered in wysteria vines.
(( That's for reference, quoted from the front area of the guild, so we know what it looks like.

Shiriko found himself traversing down a part of town he didn't visit too often, a path laden with a variety of flowers, many with new buds signaling the beginning of summer. The air was fresh with a pleasant scent yet slightly chilly without the sun in the sky. The perfect time of day for Shiriko to be out, yet still slightly depressing with the darkness washing out the flowers. Soon, though, the moon would be high in the sky, and the albino lion wouldn't have to worry.
It had been about a month since the last time he had been out, perhaps longer, which was a statistic that he highly disliked. He had been hoping to get out sooner, perhaps meet up with people and have a little fun, but he had been too busy trying to keep the small home he lived in from going under. As one who couldn't be out during the daylight hours very easily, it was difficult for Shiriko to find a job. Luckily there were a few 24-hour stores out there...
He had wished, more than ever, he could've done something for his birthday, but he tried to shrug it off as not a big deal. At least he was out now, right? He sighed, glancing up to see the moon rising. This was a very familiar scene, if the moon had been higher. He still kept the sketch Lysander drew of him from the first night they met, as it was the only gift he had ever received from anyone. He snorted, making his way to the grassy area next to the garden, feeling his legs getting tired.
