yeah i'm new to role playing and did my first one a couple of days ago and it sucked how do u do role plays cause i was really lost

You just kind of make up a story about yourself then pretend you are that person. Kind of like you pretend that you are an avi but you are a real person.
Snu has an "inner" dragon - which is the real you speaking as your avi
and there is the "outer" dragon which is a made up character that you pretend to be like being an actor.
It is all just fun so you practice and just make up funny stories. Someone starts a story then the next one picks up and says something then the next.
Just have fun!

To be completely honest I'm no roleplay veteran. I dabble in it a bit and do a much better job of coming up with the stories than participating. I often don't know what to say if I haven't posted in a while so I just sort of come up with something random just to acknowledge that I'm still there lol. Don't be too serious about it, like misty said, just have fun. smile

how can you say you have never felt emotion from an rp?!?! I dont always but ocasionally i will get attached to the character. i remember one time, it was my first serious rp and i got into it and when it was done i just sat back and said wow... if i like the rp i will stick with it forever!(or as long as others keep posting) i just cant believe that you dont fell anything when you rp. i am also a roleplayer in real life as in table top with paper and dice. i lost a character (they were killed) and it made me 1. cry, 2.feel depressed for the rest of the day, and 3. feel awsome that i could creat something that i liked so much! so in other words i pity those of you that dont get any emotion from you role playing.
