The closest thing I got to that was when a crowd surfer landed on my head...I didn't see him coming. xp At least it kept the guy from falling.
I don't like dancing, so I don't do that. I do some really violent headbanging though.

I saw Madina Lake last Wednesday.
That mosh pit was SCARY. Load of scene twats getting a bit lairy and screaming at everyone. Urghhh. And then they tried to push my friend in and she turned round and told them exactly where to get off...
I've only been in them a couple of times because normally I like to go just behind them so you can dance without getting broken bones.

I was front row at the Smashing Pumpkins show where the guy died.
+hxc points for me!
(though, his death was most likely NOT a moshpit related. but whatever. it's not like the media cared at all. because moshing is bad and kids die! and marylin manson makes us shoot our class mates)

i love moshpits. just the other night went to see parkway drive and the moshing was intense but then the death circles get started thats when i get scared and people start sweating like crazy. but the worst part are the w-emos(wannabe emos) who just stand there. one day i will push one to see if there is a domino affect mrgreen

They were awesome, worth you seeing definitely :]]
I think it depends who's playing. I mean, I saw Hadouken!, and it was one of the best I've been to- the whole place was raving, even to the support bands which tbh you don't see that often. I just don't like it when it gets a bit heavy...

There's some English hardcore band that is amazing. They haven't surfaced outside the UK yet' but, they start moshpits during concerts by making a line either side facing each other at least four meters away. It looks like a brave heart scene before the battle.
The best bit is when the song breaks in and the singing, (screaming and what not), they all run into each other and start head banging and jumping randomly. They edit some of it off when they play live when shown on TV. I heard people die in those moshpits.
