Oh man, I saw the tv Ruffian movie. It was really sad. I read the book
Ruffian too and I was almost in tears. Ruffian's my favorite famous racehorse.
I know a lot of racehorses because my friend works at Philadelphia Park. Her horse is an ex-racer who broke his leg, he's also related to Secretariat.
Her mom just bought a racehorse named Boulevard.
Both got their horses with broken legs.
My favorite racehorse is Bull For Rush. He loves cuddles.

He was called Ugly Pony because he had a nasty skin infection that left him with patchy fur and a bunch of scars that grew in white. I say he thinks he's an Appy.
xd You can see one of the white spots above the bag of treats I'm holding in the first picture.
He's really fast. And he's small for a TB. He was moved up to Boston, so I probably won't see him for a while.
My friend's interested in buying him, though, because she just retired her horse. If we bought him, his new name would be Dave.
