I'd prefer you actually give it another shot.
Unfortunately there aren't that many Roleplayers within the guild yet.
So you'll have to have patience when making a thread like this.
Although I would like to get a good number of dedicated Rpers within this subforum.

After a week at sea, the luxury ship has arrived at it's destination. This island resort supposedly has everything a person could want, all while giving off a natural feel. Some of the passengers - first time sailing - have been sea sick all week. As a result, the crew offered to unload the luggage. The twenty-five passengers were told to follow the path up to the hotel, and warned not to go off the path. After a half an hour of traveling, however, the path began to fade. They headed back the way they came, only to find that the ship had departed.
The whole thing was fishy from the beginning. A free month long trip to a high-class luxury resort, and they'd fallen for it. Slowly, they all went mad. After seeing the effects of the poisonous berries and fish, they couldn't take it. There wasn't any freshwater around the place. The elderly couldn't take the heat. The young wouldn't stand for the lack of necessities. The families were more intent on keeping each other safe. Everyone became hostile toward one another, but in the end, it all lead to death. They were without water, food, or shelter. After refusing to work together, and the bloody battles that claimed four lives, it was over.
Flash forward to the present. There really is a luxury resort there, only one problem. Recently, young children have been tempted to kill themselves in the dead of night. After a string of suicides, the place suffered terribly profit-wise. They were forced into bankruptcy. The place was bought out by a new owner, a money-mad typhoon who is willing to do anything for a few dollars. After realizing that no one would take residency there, he devised a plan. One million dollars to any one who volunteered to figure out what was the matter, and one week in paradise.

Reality may not be, but Gaia is. This means no cybering, and no cursing every-other word. But every three words is okay. I'd like to avoid trouble, get it? And Gaia's rules do apply, as always.
#Literacy -
SIX SENTENCES MINIMUM A POST. BE DESCRIPTIVE!
I know it sounds horrible and terrible and makes me look like a villain, but people have been too lax on this rule.
#Quality -
Not quantity - as long as the minimum is in there. I will accept writer's block, but only once a page or so.
#Punctuation, Capitalization, and the Works -
Being god in this role-play I'm BANNING bad punctuation and capitalization from the role-play. In other words, go grab a book, write down what you want to say, and copy the style to match the book's.
#IF YOU LEAVE SOMEONE HANGING, YOU WILL BE IGNORED -
If you must leave, please excuse yourself from the conversation with another character and tell us so. If you will be gone for more than three days, tell us. Just post it in OCC in your last post. As for the hangees, you have permission to leave them. If your connection goes down...at least say so when you get back!
#Actions are in fully punctuated sentences, speech is in quotations, and OOC is in parentheses.
Remember, if you don't do it, I'll give you a rock and release hungry lions on you. Ever try fending against hungry lions with a rock? Care to find out?
#Original characters ONLY. No, you can't be Kagome from Inu Yasha. You can be a Kagome as long as you are of Japanese descent with your own story and other things that set you apart from Kagome from Inu Yasha.
