Which would you prefer
  Adventures style - mostly on foot but with vehicles to ride on
  All-Range mode - lots of freeform. With on foot and landmaster etc.
  On-Rails - Just going along a track probably on arwing maybe other vehicles too.
  Mixture of On-Rails and All-Range - No options just swapping between the two.
  Optional - Able to choose in one game between onrails allrange modes as well as a mixtrue of both.

Please note I didn't use games as references as to what they would be like as they could be improved/made worse depending. Please keep that in mind.

i read the adventure option and the first game that came into my mind was Halo lol

I think it should be like all of those options but i think a perfect game would be like SF 64 with differn't paths and such but i'd like to see differnt story lines like but in no way like command you star off playing as the Star Fox team and beating that would unlock the Star Wolf story mode and you'd see where they were and what they wer doing and of couse some lvl will be the same cus they fight each other but like star wolf could be ether.....wait i just got it

make it kinda like FF tactices advance but of couse with dog fights
both star fox and star wolf would play their storys out as what they are MERCS for hire of couse i'd like to see star wolf doing my eviler thing than fox but in the end Wold can be hired by Fox's final mission and i suppose wolfs boss could be jeck making wolf quit at the last min

uhhh crap how did i come from just voting to makeing up the next game?

A mix of All-range and On-track. I think that's the best way to go. If they do any more on foot missions though, they should do like they did in Assault. I kind of liked the system they had for that, but I think they should make it a little easier to switch between weapons.

I choose mixtrue of the but optional option. Mianly because I may want to play all onrails one day and then explore on foot the next. It all depends on what I feel like playing at the time.

Do like Assault. I loved that except for the lack of missions. I also think that the separate stories of Star Fox and Star Wolf is a good idea. But overall, I'll be happy as long as they change the character's look back to the Assault ones. The current ones are really deformed. PLEASE PEOPLE, THINK OF KRYSTAL!!!! I actually haven't got command. But I've seen how she looks in it. *girly scream* Ahhhhh! I'm scared.

Assualt was awesome, but that wasn't there...so I picked On-rail and All-Range. Star Fox 64 was the best so far.

I say all-range. There should be on rails bosses that move around though, that would be interesting.

I'd like to see something between the on-rails and free-range options. Something that doesn't feel like it's on Rails but really is. Kinda like the newest Legend of Spyro is going to be (comes out this October).

Your like me. Coming up with game ideas from just a suggestion. However this below.. i always had this idea saving up.

The game would be a mixture of all the best parts of the released games. Each mission starts with a permission briefing. This gives details on objectives. The objectives are put into rounds in the mission. Each round you get to decide how to take on the mission. This includes who goes with you, who you play as and also the mode/s you want to play.

On foot should be like Adventures. You get to explore the areas and some minor puzzles. However it should be a lot more action based. You should also be able to get onto vehicles like Landmaster and be able to complete the mission that way and not be forced to go around on foot.

On rails should be like N64 game but better. Everything can be improved. More strategy rather then just blow up everything in sight. Basically less enemies that can be one hit killed.

All range mode needs to be more filled basically. It needs to have a lot more going on. You don't have places where you have to spend ages flying to the next bit of action.

At the end of each round you get a ranking. Mission Success/Completion/Failure. Mission Failure means that part of the mission has failed. For instance on the first round you have to turn off the enemy bases shield. Failing that the next round the the base will still have the shields activated. Completion would basically be you did what you set out to do. The bases shields are off. Mission Success means you have not only completed the mission but done a bonus part of the mission. Such as not only taking down the shields but also taking down their missile launchers.

Depending on the ranking at the end of the round depends on how easy the next round is. Failure although the mission becomes more difficult to complete the task for the next round the overall difficulty of the enemy goes down. Mission Complete the difficulty remains the same. Mission Success the difficulty increases. There would be a more difficult mode for those who manage to find it. This mode would be near to impossible to complete and would be based more on luck then anything else.

At the end of fully completed mission with all rounds complete the team gets a reward. During this time they can head back to the previous location and do sub missions, buy upgrades and extras or head straight for the next mission.

Getting the combo upgrade allows you to pull off a combo with your team mate/s. The better the upgrade the better the combo and more the team mates can join the combo. As an example of one of the items you can buy for your team.

Each character like in Command will have different arwings but also have unique abilities.

Fox being team leader would be able to issue commands to the rest of the team. This gives him greater control over movements and actions of the other characters.

Falco since we know he has a short temper would have a beserk mode. If he gets low on health he gets mad and starts shooting a lot faster then normal. He also can't take damage during this time. However it only lasts a certain length of time or until he is healed.

Slippy would be able to repair his arwing/vehicle he is in a bit and dispense silver rings or health kits to assist other characters. At times he can also make upgrades. However all these take time and during these times he can't attack.

Krystal using telepathy can detect enemy movement, hidden enemies and also weak spots on the enemies. She also can tell how much energy the enemy has left. Some of this requires concentration so she is limited by time as to how long these abilities (this may just be more powerful versions of those abilities) remain on.
