Here's a story for ya!
One day, a little Gaian named Kinny Fear wanted to post a comment on her friend's profile. When she hit the send button, a bright blue magical giftbox appeared in front of her, that said, "Kinny! I am a rare even, the first rare event that's happened for you since you joined Gaia!"
Kinny was overjoyed, but she was unsure of what she should do now. Clueless, she went to the GCD and posted a thread about it. Within the first minute of its existance, a moderator informed Kinny Fear that they had moved her thread to the Chatterbox, because it was incorrectly placed.
Later that day, Kinny Fear wandered over to the ED, where to her dismay she say five spam threads, three misplaced threads and one troll.
Some of these threads were allowed to continue for seven pages before they finally drifted to the bottom.
Kinny Fear went to see what was up with the mods, when she discovered that of all the mods assigned to the ED, only two were actually online. And there seemed to be nothing Kinny Fear could do about it.
The moral of the story is, GTFO of ED, trolls!
Eh. Sorry about ranting. I couldn't do it in the ED, and I couldn't do it in the GD, and I don't even want to go near the Chatterbox. *sneers*

Indeed. We live in corrupt Gaian times, my friend. Well, sometimes. The mods can be really hypocritical, though.

A lot has changed since I was here on gaia about three years ago. I remember when it was more...peaceful I guess you can say. Then something happened in which the gates of stupidity and trolls openned and unleashed them onto this innocent land. Now it is filled with these disgusting and corrupt people who's sole purpose at times is to make fun and destroy the ideas of peace among the folks of Gaia. *shakes head* Oh well, that is why I join guilds and such. I prefer a smaller setting than using the forums. Easier to manage a small group than a massive flood of stupidity I guess.

Well i get people trying to trick me into giving them my password....it is only me for some reason.....no one else seems to get people trying to hack into their accounts..... crying ...but i am not stupid so i still have BelleChoc 4laugh ....

I agree, ED is wholly annoying. Most of the people posting there are...well...idiots. I see more threads about psyvampires and repeat threads than any origional topics.

It seems like they're slowly coming in and corrupting every single forum I start regularly posting in. I must be cursed.
Anyways, that's cool that you got a rare event! I hadn't gotten any for years (literally) but in the last month I've gotten two. Hopefully my luck will keep up, but I kind of doubt it.

Ah no problem with trolls here. Even there are trolls here and they act up I don't think any of them will last very long. Since The crew and myself really dont tolerate trolls.

I've had at least 5 or 6 ED-worthy threads get moved to the CB. It's bullshit, most of the time they won't even move threads to the next best forum, they just toss them into the CB or RB.

Yeah, or at least allocate certain discussion to the proper sub-forums within the ED. *shrugs* I gave up on that place. Nothing but perverts and ***** trying to cause trouble and start s**t there like its the Mexican Village in those old westerns.

I tend to spend time just sitting in front of my computer waiting for a thread to pop up that looks semi good. Then I hop in and have fun...then the idiots come that only read the title or the first post and none of the others.
It's really annoying. I mean, if the topic is like a hundred pages long I understand not reading every post, but a person should at least read the first couple pages or something. Instead they say things like "thats stupid" or "not true" and they don't even elaborate....

Guess what? Not 5 minutes later, it was moved to the trash.
