Disclaimer: I am not the world's greatest artist, but I'm still willing to give this my best effort.
Could someone give me a geogrpahical description of Delmor's terrain as well as a decent description of types of buildings (how many tall buildings, and is it mostly houses or not) so that I can do a few sketches?
I'll do an aerial one (very streets, more of a geographical shape, few details. Mostly 'how would this look on a map?') and one as if you were out on the sea, with a few bits of coast and then a bit of a profile shot of Delmor.
All I need to know is a slight description of the topography (flat or hilly, etc) and a rough taller-to-shorter buildings ratio. And any tall buildings (like Channel Q)... I'd like a label on them so that I can put a small sign on there.
So... urban or rural and flat or hilly, mostly. And I know that there WILL be a housing area of the drawings. I WILL label business and housing areas.
Both will be labeled ISLANDINSULA OF DELMOR with a subtitle.
Thanks!
These will either look awesome or sucky. Here's hoping I can do awesome.

You do know that we have a Delmor Map already. It doesn't have everything, but the crew says that it isn't the most important project at the moment. I myself am fairly sure that if ever a map is more important than the crew will update it.

I'll let you guys do the map, I was going to work on actual pictures and an aerial view.

Okay, Gatta, I don't know where you're from, nor do I ask to, but if you've ever been to New England, you may be able to recognize what kind of place this is.
The creators of Delmor originally based their image on mixture of Mystic Connecticut, Martha's Vineyard Massachusetts, and Bar Harbor Maine. These areas are heavily wooded for the most part, with small town-like concentrations around the more accessible harbors. Now the are in question was formed by glacial movements from the north to the south, so for the most part the northern part of the island will be rocky, with small hills (under 400 ft), and south of the hills will be a large flat sandwash area, usually plains if construction or logging has not changed the environment there. The north and west coast is usually protected by the mainland (as evidenced by where the peninsula comes in) and will be short beaches with a lot of shells and rocks, the south coast will be open, so it will be sandier, longer stretches of beaches with good surf, a short drop-off and beach volleyball. the east coast will be in between these two extremes. there will be lots of buildings in the town center and they'll grow sparcer as you move away. There will be several farms farther off (such as Ted's farm now called area 41). Near where Snottsborn tower (the tallest building on the island (In fact, one of the stories of snottsborn tower is by itself, taller than the rest of the buildings at a staggering 300 feet due to some literary humor courtesy of Ludo Monster) there will be an industrial business park of taller buildings, factories, office space and all those other things you don't want in your backyard. We can imagine to be a large part of the more pristine of wildernesses on the islandinsula to be a wildlife reserve without any buildings on it. There will probably be one large reserve with several smaller ones around. We can imagine that there will probably be at least one gold course, although we have not talked about any such thing.
Beyond that, though, I'd say just use your best judgement, and don't take it all too seriously, that's how brains get hurt.

I'm not a stalker I swear, Gatta just mentioned it before. She'ss from Viriginia, somewhat close to Virginia Tech, actually. I don't forget these things for some reason. Also, MU, Ted Nugget's is Area 42, 41 is fine. The only real noticible difference is their ability to divide by six (which, 41 doesn't, while 42, miraculously, does).
This is good, actually. I always saw Delmor as more city-like, due to the large buildings.

Delmor also has an Abandoned District. It contains properties that were probably constructed by a Carnegie or Rockefeller type who erroneously thought that the land bridge was permanently above water, thereby making the area’s access to water an asset to the milling and mining industry. As these buildings are now abandoned, one can assume that it was a misguided decision.

I ought to be able to make a decent sketch soon.
