Sesshomaru sat on the ledge of the window, his tails dangling down from the edge as he stared up at the night sky. He had always found the mysterious and dark night sky to be much more beautiful than the bright day sky... Perhaps it's the stars and the moon...
He had found himself to be much more relaxed in this world, largely due to the fact that he had no enemies here. It was a peaceful place; maybe a little too quiet and uneventful for him, but nonetheless, Sesshomaru enjoyed the change in environment. For once, he won't have to... Worry about some demon taking Rin away, or what his foolish brother might be up to. However, worry might not even be the right word to use for the second case.
The sword by his side caught the light coming from the Kitsu HQ, and glistered silver. It was as if it was as calm as he was... Well, it was a gift from his father. Sometimes, he wonder if his father knows what would happen in the future. By giving him this sword, his father had shown him a lot, even though he was already dead.

The crescent moon lit a clearing surrounded by large and tall trees. The faint outline of everything seemed a light and mystical blue. Stars shimmered around the moon; it had a mystical and enchanting air about it. Vynnessia sat near one side of this clearing staring up at the sky seemingly moonstruck. It was something she inherited from her father. But it was nowhere near as bad as it could have been.
A faint smile crossed the lone kitsu's lips as she opened her mouth and began singing, clear and strong. Vynnessia wasn't expecting anyone to come bother her in the middle of the night. Vyn always worried if some one else was to hear her. She sang and gently her tails swayed back and forth. Vynnessia only ever sung when she was alone, it had been something her mother taught her when she was a young kit. The ability your vocals cords and create a beautiful sound as great as any instrument.
Gentle wind blew, ever so silent through the treetops. Leaves swaying. There was never anything to worry about in this place it seemed. Vyn paused for a moment with a sigh, then took in a breath and began to sing once more.

He heard it, softly at first... So soft that he thought of it as a figment of his imagination, his mind playing tricks on him on this tranquil night. However, as the wind grew a little stronger, the singing became louder, carried on the wind to his ears. He paused, ears twitching as they turned to locate the direction where the singing was coming from.
He stood up and leapt down from the window ledge, landing softly on all four feet. Tails swinging in the air, Sesshomaru silently approached the source of the singing. As he came closer to his target, he begun to wonder why the voice sounded so familiar... So dear to him in a way.
"Vynnessia?"

Vynnessia heard he name called, but no one was out this late at night were they? Maybe it was the moon playing tricks on her. She thought. But the voice sounded familiar, she hadn't heard it for quite some time. IT was an important voice, one of her dear friends.
Vynnessia had stopped singing because she had become rather nervous. She worried that her singing was awful to others ears. Vynnessia scanned the tree line looking for the approaching silent figure.
"Sesshomaru?" she questioned the darkness as she looked around calmly. Vyn also still held the suspicion that it was just the moon.

{I'm so sorry for the lateness of this reply! >.<}
He froze in his steps, and for a moment, seemed to blend in with the surroundings. It was her; he had not been mistaken. He quickened his pace, and walked out of the shadows and into the moonlight, so that he was visible to the female in front of him.
He realised that she had stopped singing, and gave her a questioning glance, "Why did you stop?"

"H.. Hello." she smiled
Vynnessia was slightly panicked, so it was him. She began to fidget she always got so nervous when anyone heard her sing. Even if it wasn't him she would be doing the same thing. Vynnessia tried to calm herself down seeing as it was only Sesshomaru and he was her firend.
I, um stopped because I get nervous when anyone is around." she said truthfully while still fidgeting. "And I dont think I sing very well." Vynnessia added quietly.

"Oh?" Sesshomaru replied, giving a pause before he continued. "I think that you singing was rather delightful to the ears." He gave his ears a slight twitch, wondering if 'delightful' was the correct word to use. He hardly praise anyone, and felt weird doing it... After all, few actually deserved to be praised by him.

He said he liked her singing. But was he lying? Why would he. He doesn't really have a reason. And besides it wouldn't be like him to lie. Little thoughts of worry kept circling through Vynnessia's head. Vynnessia currled her tree tails around her forepaws so perhaps he wouldn't notice them fidgeting.
Vynnessia smiled "Thank you." she said quietly.
