My Confession
This is a confession which I must make.
There have been promises I made just to break,
but that doesn't mean I have been fake.
There were some things I just could not forsake.
When I said those woords they felt so untrue
that I knew my thoughts would show through.
All I know is that my broken words shall hurt you
and there is nothing else I can do.....
......except confess....
If I had the chance to alter time
I'd do it in a second before I change my mind
If given the chance, I'd take it in a minute
I want to take the hand and begin to spin it
If you gave me the chance to change the hour
This day, this week, I'd use the power
To push back time a month or two
But since I can't change the year, there is nothing to do
......except confess....
