We all have favourite movies. Why not discuss them?
Please don't just come in and flame movies. It's fine to say you can't stand something, but raving about how absolutely horrid it was is disrespectful (use constructive criticism biggrin ). Though there are a few movies out there that warant that hatred... Soul Survivor makes me think of that. gonk I don't even know why that movie was made... Only reason I watched it was because of Eliza Dushku...
Also, completely fawning over an actor/actress because they're hot is frowned upon.
Some inspiration: -favourite movies -last movie you saw -movies you think everyone should see actors/directors you do/don't like
-----
As for my favourites they are: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Wizard of Oz and The Princess Bride.
Holy Grail was hilarious and I quote it often (but not as much as ReBoot... XD). And then For the other two I grew up watching them. I've loved them for as long as I can remember. They're just classics. For anyone that hasn't seen The Princess Bride I smack you with a stick and order you to go watch it now. It's beyond brilliant gonk
Last movie I saw was Hitch. It had some brilliantly funny moments but it wasn't a movie that would stay with me. Had some real drawn out parts and the ending was so predictable and stereotypical. Then again, I'm not much for romantic comidies in the first place.
Favourite actors and actresses include: John Cleese, Harrison Ford, Milla Jovovich and Alyson Hannigan. I can't stand: Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise and Julia Roberts. I swear the movie Signs made a part of me die.

ZOMG!! TOM CRUISE AND LINDSAY LOHEN ARE SO HOTTT ROTFLMAO!!!!11!

My favourite movie as of now is Ice Age. OMG best animated film EVER! It was freaking hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing! xDDD I love all the characters! WAH!
AND THERE'S AN ICE AGE 2 COMING OUT *o*
Moulin Rouge, Ringu, and Ju-on are also favourites cool The former was just..so romantic and gorgeous... and the latter two were soooo freaky and scary and perfect~!
Phantom of the Opera...I like the soundtrack more than is normal. Mmm, dunno about the actual movie. It might have been because I was half-asleep when I was watching it, but I was expecting a lot more out of it o_o

I loved the Phantom of the Opera movie. The music was beyond gorgeous. I love it to death (and omg Nightwish has a version of one of the Phantom of the Opera songs. Heard it last night and wanted to die from happiness *fangirl squealing*)

My fav movie right now has to be War of the Worlds (yesh, I know, Tom Cruise is a tool, but only with Katie Holmes!). It's not a smart movie or anything, but the special effects rocked! Those evil tripod things were so cool! *________*
I liked Master and Commander as well, that was a smart movie. Uhh, romantic movie wise, I really like Moulin Rouge. So sad and so pretty! ;o;
Comedy...Dodgeball! I couldn't stop laughing! Little Nicky is pretty funny too, but I'm such a loser I laugh at anything 3nodding
I really liked Signs, but I really like Mel Gibson and Jo-joqua...the Phoenix guy! The little girl was so adorable heart
My fav actors are Ben Stiller, Mel Gibson, Paul Bettany, Ewan McGregor. Fav actresses are Nicole Kidman, Scarlett Johanson and Dakota Fanning. whee

There's The Last Unicorn, which I love since I was a wee little girl. It's pretty.
And I'm a Star Wars fan: the old trilogy definately got it's place as my favourite movies. How could I not like a sci-fi fairy tale?
Willow. I think I like fairy tales - and don't tell me it's simply a fantasy movie.
Dune - awsome. Simply awsome. Go watch. Now.
