My favorite movies of the year
1) Grindhouse
2) Hot Fuzz
3) 1408
4) 300
Man ... I cant even round out a top five. I saw FF:2 last night and I enjoyed that, though the Fantastic Four franchise is a bit too campy. I keep expecting the 60's era Batman "POW!"'s to end up on the screen at some point.
There's still Transformers, but I don't hold out a ton of hope that it will blow me away.
The Harry Potter movies continue to get a little better each time and thats coming out soon.
I wanna see Mr. Brooks.
Evan Almighty will probably be terrible, but i like Steve Carrell ...
Wondering when the hell Halloween is coming out ... I liked Rob Zombies last film a lot.
And there will probably be another Saw film in the fall. They keep cranking those out like cracker jack.

1408 was added to my list. Forgot about his one ... a damn good film, but kinda lets me down just a bit at the end.

Harry Potter was okay. But Transformers blew me away.
You know how a movie looks really really awesome in the commercials, and you hype yourself up about it? And the when actually go see it it has a few let downs and over all the plot was sort of flaky or watered down?
Well this movie was far better then I hyped it up to be in my own mind. FAR FAR Better! xd
