It's both, "Kikyo" and "Kikyou". The "u" is something we americans add to give the long "o" sound. ^^;

As for who inuyasha pairs up with... uh... >>; Tha inu han'yo... is wuite hard to pair up. I've seen him with sango in many of the fics I read, but that's breaking up our classic couple. ^^; So, I dunno.

I'm going to say Kagome.

Not because Kikyo is dead (that's a lame reason, in my opinion). But, Kikyo never really accepted InuYasha. I know she loved him at some point, but I don't think she ever fully accepted his demon side (evidence of why she was so eager to have him use the jewel to become human, among other things). Whereas Kagome from the very start accepted InuYasha the way he was. In fact, she likes that he's a half demon (she even once told him not to change, to stay the way he was.

Well, that's just what I think.

Well.. there's no proof of that, and I think she loved him but she's a jerk now because she was brought back to life after 50 years of being dead and she wants to stay away from inuyasha because she knows her purpose is not to be with him anymore. But i truely believe that she loved him for who he was, remember not everone accepted him for who he was but she did. But now that she is dead she knows that she must move on even though she still have lingering feelings for him and that's why they still have encounters that end with him telling her that he's protect her and such, she leaves because it's to hard to face. But I have to say that he needs to move on now and we all know that he's falling inlove with Kagome and she has fallen inlove with InuYasha, it would only be natural for them to be together. heart
