Farrin was nothing but a sweet child growing up growing up in a small Navel Port and while she always kept her eyes on the swaying ocean she had always kept her mind on what was considered a more practical future for a young woman. It was not until the people she had considered friends learned her families secret that she became the untrusting and cheeky woman she is today.
She was 10 when it happened. They came to their door knocking and asked for her father. Farrin didn't quite understand why so many Navel personnel needed to see him until they started reading off a list : Treason, Crimes against the crown, and Piracy, among others. Some of those men had been good friends of the family but that didn't change anything and neither did her or her mothers pleas. A week later he hung from the gallows. It wasn't till a few years later she discovered how they had learned her father was a Pirate but her distrust towards everyone had already set in.
On her 18th birthday she left home to fallow the open sea in her fathers foot steps, as a pirate to any ship who would take her no matter the length of time.
