Plot:
All know that Dragon’s are immortal and therefore cannot be killed. No one has the power to slay a dragon because immortality flows within the very blood of their veins. However, one man stepped up to the challenge of slaying a dragon and succeeded with the help of the gods, but for their help he paid with his life right after the dragon had been slain. Two gods, Haenthr and Megilas, gathered up a small amount of the dead dragon’s blood with its immortal powers, in a crystal vial, and then washed away the rest of the blood with a heavy storm of rain.
The two gods then placed the crystal vial, with its contents, deep within a secluded forest, where they thought no one would find it. However, not more then ten years later a young knight found the vial and brought it back to his home town, where he gave it to a local herbalist, whose young daughter was sick.
A few days after receiving the vial, the townspeople gathered at the herbalist’s home, convicting her of witchcraft, along with her sick child. "Burn them at the stake!" they claimed, "Throw them in the water and watch if they float." The town priest commanded the herbalist to come with him for trial, but the woman refused to leave her sick child, claiming she had a vial that could cure her; she needed only to get it from the cupboard. Alarmed, the townspeople rushed into the house to stop her as she reached into the cupboard for the vial, and as they grabbed at her arms, the vial fell from her hands and crashed to the floor. The dragon’s blood splashed up, splattering the ground and was quickly absorbed by the dry ground. However, one drop of blood flew into the air and landed on the herbalists' daughter, where it spread out in a small intricate design on her left forearm.
The young child screamed out in pain as the blood seared into her flesh where it burned the mark into her skin. Then, in a furious uproar of confusion and anger, the townspeople swept away the herbalist and her screaming daughter to be burned at the stake. As the pyre's were set up, and the two were tied to the poles, the Herbalist glanced down at her child with tears in her eyes.
"I am so sorry," she whispered then looked up at the priest. "Please!" She called. "My daughter is innocent! Do not kill her as well!"
The priest faltered for a moment before speaking. "Free the young girl," he remarked and the girl was released. He took her into his arms, as she was now unconcious and still with fever. "I will raise her in the house of God to repay your sins," he stated to the Herbalist.
The Herbalist scowled. "I die not for my sins, for I have not the ones you claim upon me, but I will die for the sins of my townspeople who so selfishly sacraficed me out of fear and anger! Take care my dear Emlyn, never lose hope!" She added to her daughters unconcious form.
With that the fire was set upon her and everyone turned away as she vanished forever. Soon after, the priest took away the young child and did as he claimed, raising the child.
Now, ten years later, Emlyn is an outcast among her village and she strives everyday for attention. However, soon her life will change forever and the cause of it is approaching the village swiftly, but, what could it be? Continue on brave venturer to discover the end of this tale, if there is one.

((Alright no one seems to be joining this, so I'm going to go ahead and start and hope that post numbers will encourage others to join this...or to come up with their own role-plays.))
Emlyn Skallar walked the stone corridor of the church she had spent most of her life within, at least as she could remember so. The skirts of her robes flowed around her ankles with every step she took and she hummed a small tune of her own invention; it was her only company. She stopped suddenly as a group of nuns rushed past, heads bent low and whispers running through their group---always the same reaction. Emlyn shook her head and glanced out the tall angular window to her right and into the bright blue sky outside, where she wanted to be just then. Of course, she had to report to Father Arrain just then so she didn't really have an option. Making haste, she soon halted her voyage before two tall cedar doors and knocked upon it.
"Enter," A rough and heavy voice called and Emlyn pushed her way into the room.
"You sent for me Father Arrain?" Emlyn muttered, staying close to the doors.
"Ah yes," Father Arrain nodded slowly as he folded his hands into the large sleeves of his habit. "There is a visitor here to see you."
"A visitor?" She repeated sarcastically. "For me?" She laughed. "Father, please, do not joke upon such matters with me. It hurts my heart."

He stood with his eyes to the floor. The very word "visitor" made him wince, for he wasn't there for a "visit", in fact he was forced to meet this stranger against his will.
His mind lapsed. Racing to the beat of his heart he bent under the weight of his own body. No food or water. "How absent-minded can I be!" He yelled at himself. For the first time he recognized somthing in his voice that he hated. This was his father's voice. High and mighty, a twang of self-invented prose and accent, this echoed in Vectol's ears and made them burn with anger.
"...us Mr. Moren?" An entity in his vision called to him. "Are you with us Mr. Moren?" The voice repeated. By the sound of "us" this stranger had arrived. "ahem...Yes," His voice cracked a bit and it sounded like his again, " I'm awa-, or here, rather." He looked up with these words and could little make out the shadowy figure coming in from the bright sunlight.

Emlyn flicked her gaze over to where the voice had come from in the corner of the room, where the supposed visitor appeared to be hiding. She tilted her head to the side and redirected her attention back to Father Arrain.
"So you lie not to me?" She inquired as she stepped out of the doorway and more into the room.
"Nay," Father Arrain responded. "A traveler, here to greet you. Now both of you begone from my office I have much work to do. Emlyn. Show him around." With that, he ushered the two of them out of the room and closed the doors behind them.

Her face came into focus. She had beautiful soft and pale skin, but her eyes revealing such tragedy brought him sadness of his own.
"I guess he is quite the popular one." He tried to shake his memories. "By the by, I'm Vectol" He slightly bowed his head at his greeting, but quickly realizing his mistake awquardly put his hand out instead.

Emlyn looked at his hand as he held it out to her and slowly accepted it, shaking it then releasing. It felt odd, then again it was the first sort of greeting she had ever recieved. She observed the visitor, Vectol he said his name was. He had brown hair with matching brown eyes that seemed to say something but then their secrets would be masked. She frowned then shook her head.
"I am Emlyn. Emlyn Skallar," she stated. "Come."
With that she began to walk the passage she had taken to get there, one of the more deserted ones which made it less likely for her to accumilate odd stares.

He followed her down a path seemingly untaken by many, but maybe herself. He took a moment to take in the scenery. An old uninviting forest stood before them and the beaming sun did not reflect the chill that hung in the air. His last entry through the town was done unconciously, but it seemed all too familiar.
"I can't help, but wonder," She stopped making Vectol feel unsettled, "I can't help, but wonder why they would send a child to guide me." "You are a child, correct?" He thought he may have made a mistake by saying this and tried to redeem himself, "You look very young for your age." "That is if I knew her age!" and failed.

Emlyn frowned and glanced at him.
"People should not speak," she said. "Without thinking their thoughts through first."
She continued on her way, not answering him directly and debating if she even should. After a while of silence, she looked at him once more as they continued on their way.
"My age is seventeen. I am no child," she answered finally. "But it figures then doesn't it? You said it yourself. I can't help but wonder why they would send a child to guide me. You did not ask for me in specific. You don't even care to be here. It was too good to be true. Father Arrain just couldn't get anyone else to see you."

"I didn't ask for a guide," He almost shouted, "Nor did I even ask to come into this town."
He shifted his weight to the other foot and looked into the sky. "I didn't mean to offend you," He turned his gaze to her, "and your right, I should think before I speak. It is a problem I have."
He nodded his head at her as a sign that he wanted to continue. Vectol forced himself to say nothing unless spoken to, even though she knew not who she spoke to. The went down paths twisting and turning naturally through the landscape. Knotted tree roots occasionally tripped him as if they wanted to halt his encroachment into their territory. The midday sun found it's way through the clouds and relieved the biting cold. He tried to keep up with Her, but fell slightly behind.

"Are you hungry?" She asked abruptly, stopping after awhile so he could diminish the space between them and rejoin her.
She waited silently for his answer, occasionally watching the leaves on the trees sway back and forth in the wind that still blew through. The sun shone brightly now, the mist that had hugged the valley floor now burned away by its heat.
"So?" she asked again.

His stomach screamed yes, but his mind wanted to be polite. "Well, not really, but if you are planning on it, I'd be happy to join you" "Good save!" he thought to himself, Let's hope she is planning on it." The word "is" slipped out of thoughts and was spoken aloud, but he thought she didn't here it.

Emlyn glanced at him as she listened to his response. Nodding, she strode over to a wall before them that was covered completely in ivy that snaked up and over the top of the roof. Pressing her hand into the plant, she pulled at a large metal ring that was well hidden (obviously) and she pulled open the hidden door.
"Then let us get food," she said as she beckoned for him to enter the suddenly exposed doorway.
