So, Gaia cars.
...yeah.
I like the new mechanic, but I wish they had more choices in cars. Maybe I don't want to drive an SUV, maybe I want to customize my coupe a little more. I hope they put in motorcycles at some point.
I wish you could make custom logos and the like, but I know why they won't let you do that. Still, I wish I could do the paint job myself. With all the artists on Gaia you'd think you would be able to do that much. There is a severe lack of paint and accessories for anything that isn't the Scion.
The rally is WAY too simple and boring. And you don't get anything for doing it, which really sucks.

I noticed the "My Car" taga second before the announcement and was like "WTH?"
And yeah... the choices suck. I wanted a coupe, but allit had was pastel colors and girly decals, soI went with the SUV. I HATE SUV's. But not as much as pick-ups or driving a pastel car. ._.
I also really suck at racing. Haven't won a game yet. I always start out strong, and then... Why do the jumps hate me? I will make a perfect jump every godamned time and my car decides to stall anyways.

But yeah. Ew. I doubt there'll be any more variety since it's sponsored by Scion. ._.

Such things do not exist, and it's silly to pretend. X3 The title of this topic made me think of my cat. We have laminate flooring. Drifting is her favourite game. There is no other reason why she would run back and forth with no apparent goal, that she does it for the sheer fun of it is the only logical explanation. Like when you ran around in socks, skidding, when you were a kid.

At our hospital, they have super-slick granite floors, and there's this one looooooong a** hallway that I've always wanted to skid on. This floor's so slick that you can practically skid with off-road vehicle tire traction on the bottom of your shoes. It's great. On another different but sort of similar note, I've always wanted to do that thing where you dress in a velcro suit and throw yourself against a velcro wall. That'd be fantastic.

...I think it's kind of cute. *shrug* I don't care that I haven't won a race, or that there's such a small selection in cars and accessories for them. It's fairly cheap, and it's more entertaining than Towns, to me.
And like Lor said, the battle system has turned into a myth. I wasn't really ever expecting them to finish it, but that's not why I joined Gaia, so it doesn't bother me.

To be honest, the thing that bothered me most was the random grombies crossing the road. We know better than to run across a racetrack, damnit. emo
Other than that, I think it's fun. We get new NPCs and somewhere else to run around that isn't just grass, trees and rocks.
