The Seas surrounding the Divine Islands was often peaceful and beautiful. The sun sparkled on the pale blue water, and sometimes, one could see schools of fish swimming around underneath the boat they were travelling in. Storms happened, but not very often...

Today, however, must have been an exception. A pirate ship glided across the pale blue water about a mile from the island that the Palace was on. On it, a storm had been going on for about twenty minutes, and Aedrian was almost positive that the inhabitants of the island could hear the storm that was being let loose and splitting his eardrums.

"AEDRIAN!" Saelean growled. "You will turn this ship around, or I will take that wheel out from under you and turn it around myself!"

The red-haired Elf turned and stepped away from the wheel. "For the last time, I won't!"

Saelean pulled him close to her so that her face was less then an inch away from hers. "I am captain of this ship, Aedrian. If you don't do as I say, I'll - "

Aedrian stepped closer to Saelean, who stepped back, and found she couldn't go further because the railing of the ship was against the small of her back. Aedrian pulled her even closer to him, so that their noses were touching. "You'll what, exactly?" he asked, his voice low as his eyes searched hers.

Saelean felt a blush trying to creep onto her face, but she pushed it away. She managed to give him a lopsided grin, her eyes never leaving his. "I'll do this."

Before he could do anything, she clapped her hands together and disappeared from infront of him. Aedrian stumbled forward, since there was no Saelean to stop him. Angrily, he slammed his fist on the all of this ship.

Damn it all! He thought, storming back to the wheel. How many more times am I going to have to sit here, worrying for her as I wait for her to come home again?

***

It was nighttime as the ship glided through the water. The deck seemed to b e completely empty, giving it the feeling of an abandoned ghost ship.

The only thing that was making it not be abandoned was a lone, red-headed figure at the wheel.

Suddenly, there was a quiet pop, and there was a brunette woman standing next to him. He did a double take, and then, without hesitition, he pulled her into his arms.

There was anoter *pop*, slightly louder this time. Puck appeared behind the boat's cabin, unseen to the disgustingly doting elf lovers.

"Blegh," he grimmaced as he watched the two embrace. "I've been less disgusted by week-old roadkill."

Suddenly, Saelean pulled away. The fact that she was the captain popped into her head, reminding her that she didn't have...

"You look lovely"

She looked up at him as he returned to steering the ship.

"Yeah, well, I guess this is what I get for messin' with the Captain of the Guard." She said with a wry smile. "He's definitely no cubicle Elf."

Puck straightened himself up proudly.

He'd beaten up a girl!

"So..." Aedrian said, spinning the wheel to the left. "No chest?..Well, a treasure one, I mean. Cos, well, you've got one..."

The shorter Elf hit him for his perverted-ness, then sighed. "Nope. No chest. Puck still has it, I think."

"That's not good."

"Nope." Saelean agreed. "If only he knew what exactly was in that chest..."

"Yeah." Aedrian said. "But they haven't opened it for at least a thousand years..."

Puck's jaw dropped in shock.

Not even these people knew what was in the chest?

I mean, s**t, why would anyone wanna steal somethin' when they don't know what it is...?

Saelean yawned. "I've gotta get that chest!"

Aedrian arched an eyebrow. "Yes, I think we've established that."

"Well, the last time it was opened, I was too young to understand.... And now, I don't even remember what had...occured!"

"So if you don't remember, why do you want it so bad?" Aedrian pressed.

"So I can take it to someone who does." Saelean said with a nod. "And with that happy, wonderful, carefree thought, I'm off to bed."
