I love EVERYTHING by Dream Theater. I've got all of their albums, even their first when LaBrie wasn't their singer. (That's the only album I don't like as much, because the singer's holding them all back.)

I also have their Fan Club only CDs. biggrin
I'd have to say my favorite albums are tied between Falling Into Infinity and Octavarium.

I was suppose to go see them in concert a while ago but I got sick so I couldn't go. I didn't miss too much since we had gotten balcony seats but I would like to try and make another show somtime later. One of my favorite songs is Octravium and I like the Cover song they did of Time by Pink Floyd.

I love Octavarium. That is really the only album I've listened to. I listened to a few of the others and I just couldn't listen to them. It might have been that I was just in a thrash mood at the time, but I couldn't listen to them.

I would say Dream Theater is a grate band, only thing I have against them is what keeps me away from a lot of prog to begin with. I hate when bands just jerk it with there interments.

I love Dream Theater! Didn't listen to too many songs. I'm gonna download the albums soon enough.
Petrucci's solo album kicks a**. Right now my favourite track is Jaws of Life or was it Tunnel Vision... I like both of them! :3

Yeah! Dream Theater is awesome! I loved Octavarium, Forsaken, The Dark Eternal Night, As I Am, and The Root of All Evil. Just to name a few.

My favorite three dream theater songs aren't ones most people would consider good for Dream Theater. "Space - Dye Vest" from the album Awake is my favorite of the three, but not many people I know actually like it because it's a slow mostly piano song. My Second favorite would have to be "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" (On the bonus disc they combined Overture, all the way to Losing Time/ Grand Finale into one song, equaling 42 minutes long of a song and they titled it after the album.) And my third favorite would have to be "The Count of Tuscany" From (I think the newest album) Black Clouds and silver linings.
I'm not sure why my friend don't like these three songs, but I love them

Oh Dream theater is in fact progressive metal ok I know now thanks guys....hmmmmm well my opinion of dream theater is....well how to put it....theyre good...but...I only like 3 of their songs...my favorite being Pull me under....the other 2 I like are the mirror and forsaken is awesome but all their other stuff...feels so...out of place...like in one song they sound pretty metal and in the next like the silent man or something....well its just too soft for my taste =p I don't know if they are doing this to appeal to a larger crowd but in my honest opinion I think they should have stayed sounding "pull me under"ish you know??? Can't stop listening to that song.
