I gusse I'm the first one to ask a question. So here goes nothing: How much detail would you suggest a noobie to cosplay put in their costume? And is it wise to bring you costume to change there or just wear it?

Newbies at cosplay or oldie, it doesn't matter, the detail in a costume is important, in my eyes at least I like having everything right. So, use your common sense on this one, how much time/effort/money do you want to put into the costume and take from that how much detail you'll put into it.
Are you going to be in a hotel or not? If you're in a hotel just bring it to change, if you're going there and going else where after wear it, since you won't want to carry around two things of clothing.

I'm looking for cosplay suggestions. Preferably a character that looks at least a little similar to me. Also, I will not be wearing a wig. biggrin

A modern day character wouldn't be as much trouble than a character from another world/time.

Hey try picking up toyko tribes and then you can be a Saru gang member. That would be soo cool. Now if I get a small crew going then maybe I can group cosplay as the Saru gang. lol

I can't see myself cosplaying as them.

How about the Shinjuku Hand, they do have those military clothes and gas masks plus seem pretty crazy.
