Well, this subforum does include "literature" in its title, so... I made this topic. Yeah. I'm amazing.
So, has anyone read any books lately?
Hmmmm.... If I can remember....
The Letters The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle Lost & Found Double Dutch Zach's Lie Jack's Run (sequel to above book)
I'm currently reading Skellig. ^^ I need to pay attention to the authors' names. >.<
And.... I've been reading the NARUTO manga.... I need to pick up on D. Gray Man manga again... Need to read BLEACH.... I wonder if the new 666 Satan chapter is out....
Yeah.
So, please discuss. ^^

I'm always reading books, lots of books...books for school, books for fun, books out of boredom...the works.
Mainly scifi/fantasy for boredom/fun and historical texts and documents for school.
At the moment I just finished a re-read of Battle Royale and am starting in on some short story collections from 2002 out of boredom and needing something to browse before bed.

Well, right now I am trying to read Les Miserables. I've always found it intimidating because of it's size, but I'm hoping I can get at least half way through it this summer. 3nodding
As for books I have read recently, I think the last book I actually finished was Fahrenheit 451, and that was a few months ago. sweatdrop I am very disappointed in myself.

Sounds Latin... Or something like that. I'm not sure. I don't know why, but I get the feeling that it's about people who are miserable. 0.0 Eh. I was wondering if anyone would ever post in this topic again. LOL.

Latin based language, close enough. xd Ummm. *thinks* I'm currently reading several books on Cross Stitch and Greek Mythology.

I read the Penguin abridged version of Les Miserables a few years back... normally I run a mine from anything abridged (An external assualt on an integral artistsic vision! For shame! xd ) but it was an intense experience, with the story pared down that much, I can't really hold anything against it. Jean Valjean is a sensational character, though I was never quite happy with Cosette... probably more of a personal thing on my part. ^^; I read a volume of Megatokyo today, which I think reads better in print than on its website - found it in the town library, of all places... I've also just started one of the stories in 'The Ebony Tower' by John Fowles.

I have books about cross stitching, to help with the project found in that link.

I'm almost done reading The Four Agreements, and I have to say it's very good. After that, I read Cowl.

I bought the book I have a while ago, and it got lost on my shelf (that's usual). But after I looked at it again recently I saw it wasn't really the first in a series, and I wanted to read the others first (I hate reading out of order). However, Borders didn't have the first one. I decided I would just read the book I have and then go back since it's basically a different story about the same person. I haven't started it yet, I'm still working on the other books I borrowed from friends whee
