How exquisite your love, O God! How eager we are to run under your wings, to eat our fill at the banquet you spread as you fill our tankards with Eden spring water You're a fountain of cascading light, and you open our eyes to light.
Psalms36:7-9 (the Message remix)

The Psalms are so much fun. Occasionally I'll do poetic renderings of them in order to increase my understanding and knowledge of the text--it's easy to write a poem about the crucifixion; it's not so easy to keep the mood, flow, and depth of the psalms in a rhyming transliteration.
You should post some other favorite psalms over here and I'll also drop by and help you with the thread. ^^

when I was younger, my mom had my brother and I memorize a verse from all 150 psalms. we could recite them all. I haven't done it in years. I don't know if I still could. But I love them.
