Ok I'm making a Sci-Fi RP, This will be the first post, and I'll start with the baisc reserved's
Then after I get the idea on what the plot should be, I'll make it.

If you are making a RP, best place to start is a setting. For sci-fi there are alot of options but the best ones for a budding RP are
1) Alien Planet
2) Post-apocolyptic earth
3) Surreal plane
4) Floating space colony
5) Underground
As for plot, Rp usually creates one itself. You give people a scenerio such as:
1) A tyrranical leader
2) Need for supplies
3) Sick or injured friend
4) Extreme danger or need for escape
5) Betterment of situation
When deciding races or stats, that can be based on setting a terrain. You do not need a stat for flat-footedness on a water planet.

Well, about a live-play one. I have made my fair few. Only one I kepts, its called Dark Moon.
I have helped people create some. One was called Aquanation, another was Vampiresque.
You were intending on a live action role play correct? Sci fi is a subject where scenarios are created in a world that is possible, but not happening. Fantasy is where things that are absolutely impossible happen.
If I am mistaken then I am sorry.
