This is a battle my companyfought against anoter company who had nearly twice our numbers. This shows thsuperiority of Hoplite in close quarters against all other types.

My skills at telling things that happend are not the best, but its stilla good story to tell, at least i thinkit is

We were fighting in the forest and along the path th goes by Bradleylake. There was a total of eight membersof the Hospitallers present, Catain Marckus, Sargeant Gordon, Sargent Lindsey, Kaz, my self and three others i can not remember specificly who. In this battle game, my company lost a total offour or five lives. Everymember o the enemy team shatterd out. The firt major fight of the battle took place at thermopylae (a name we gave to a trailk that is not quite big enough for two people to walk down side by side). Tey charged into our shield wall, andided, almost all of them lost their first life there. Waited for them in a spot were we could have twoof our three kite shield in front, which made it nearly impossible for the enemy to stab any thing. We had two spearmen behind them and two mor behind that, so the oncoming enemies had to face six well defended spears. Our spears are all around eight feet long with a three foot stab and slash blade and a one foot butt spike. Needless to say, we slaughterd them. Towards the end of the battle, Kaz andlindsey were sent off to takecare of a few enemy scouts while the rest of us wentand attacked the main body of the opposing force. All the enemies died, eventhe one that surrenderd. He was a noob, on his first day he had joined that company,he was seven years old. What i said before i killed him has become sort of an inside joke amongst themembers whowere there, "I get to kill a small child".
