Breathing the earth..
I was working on a "What is LARP?" thing. We could use that for the intro. And I won't charge you any gold. 3nodding

I spent some time writing an intro, hope you like it. Bluetabbycat The dark knight stands triumphant over the prone figure of his mortal enemy, a grim smile gracing his features. All around his minions are shouting with glee, mocking their fallen foe, eagerly waiting for their lord to finish off the once proud man in his resplendent armour. The sword is drawn and raised, ready to deliver the death blow. The good knight lowers his eyes, waiting for his execution. The moments painfully drag by, then – archers hidden in the bushes loose their arrows, hitting the dark knight and his followers with a shower of POFF POFF POFF…
“What is LARP?” you might be thinking. Well, the letters ‘LARP’ stand for Live Action Role Play. In many ways LARP is very similar to D&D and other table-top role play games; many LARP systems are based on the world and rules set out in games like D&D. However, there is one huge and very obvious difference between D&D and LARP. In D&D everyone sits around and describes what they’re doing; in LARP you go out there and do it.
You get to be the character that’s always been nothing more than scrawled notes on a character sheet!
You get to pummel your enemies with swords and axes (even though they’re made of foam latex)!
You get to use silly flowery language without anyone batting an eyelid! blaugh
LARP is a great way to get creative and express yourself. It is also very healthy for you too, as you are usually outside running around hitting things. As well as all of this, it’s a good way to practice your spontaneous acting!
This guild will be a place where newbies to LARP and old veterans can get together and have a jolly good chat about anything LARP related!
Please fill out the form if you wish to join!
1. Are you new to LARP? If not, how long have you been LARPing? 2. What got you interested in LARP? 3. Do you LARP often? 4. What’s your game? 5. Do you play more than one? 6. What’s your current character? 7. Do you always like to play a similar type of character, or do you like to vary your characters as much as possible? 8. What’s your favourite aspect of LARP?
