The Post apocalyptic fantasy LARP I do (Sim Terra)can use them. No one does cuz they're expensive and we abuse our weapons. But they are allowed on the field.

We have to in england. We have laws about it sweatdrop . If we tried doing it with metal or wood, we'd be done in for armed assault mrgreen
Most latex weapons are NERO legal. I know that belegarth and dagorhir do not allow them.

None of the games I've tried use them. They get to hard in the cold. Granted foam and duct taped PVC pipes get extreamly heavy in the rain but the added weight helps to remind players to check their swings...
