Unique and Useful Tips!
Reheat Pizza Heat up leftover pizza in a non-stick skillet on top of the stove, set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works.
Easy Deviled EggsPut cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal, mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly, cut the tip of the baggy, squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up.
Expanding Frosting When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store, whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar/calories per serving.
Reheating refrigerated bread To warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster.
Newspaper weeds away Start putting in your plants; work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers put layers around the plants overlapping as you go cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds w ill get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers.
Broken Glass Use a dry cotton ball to pick up little broken glass pieces of glass- the fibers catch ones you can't see!
No More Mosquitoes Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away.
Squirrel Away! To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it.
Flexible vacuum To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gif wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings.
Reducing Static Cling Pin a small safety pin to the seam of your slip and you will not have a clingy skirt or dress. Same thing works with slacks that cling when wearing panty hose. Place pin in seam of slacks and - voila - static is gone.
Measuring Cups Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill it with hot water. Dump out the hot water, but don't dry the cup. Next, add your ingredient, such as pean ut butter, and watch how easily it comes right out.
Foggy Windshield? Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep it in the glove box of your car. When the windows fog, rub with the eraser! Works better than a cloth!
Reopening envelope If you seal an envelope and then realize you forgot to include something inside, just place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two. Voila! It unseals easily.
Conditioner Use your hair conditioner to shave your legs. It's a lot cheaper than shaving cream and leaves your legs really smooth. It's also a great way to use up the conditioner you bought but didn't like when you tried it in your hair...
Goodbye Fruit Flies To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass fill it 1/2" with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dishwashing liquid, mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever!
Get Rid of Ants Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it "home," & can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, esp. if it rains, but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!
Take baby powder to the beach Keep a small bottle of baby powder in your beach bag. When you are ready to leave the beach sprinkle yourself and kids with the powder and the sand will slide right off your skin. Pass on these great tips to your friends!

Wow Mystress! You always come up with some interesting stuff! I know that you are going to be very helpful to us mommies! Thanks for the tips.
I have discovered some food items that my family and I really enjoy. First thing: Instead of buying canned vegetables, I buy them frozen. It lasts a lot longer and will actually save you money in the long run. Plus, I think they taste better because they aren't in a can full of funky juices!
Second: In the Asian food section at Walmart, there is this brand of tai noodles called Simply Asia. It's just a box of dried tai noodles and a package of sauce. It seems really simple, but you can add whatever you want to it. I like to add chicken and sweet peas and even corn! It's sooo yummy. It's like going to a restaruant but much cheaper!

Yummy that sounds good.... and I like to do that with top ramen... I add whatever I am in the mood for hard boiled eggs, frozen veggies, and ham or chicken or turkey or beef.. Makes eating top ramen so much more filling.....

So far as ramen goes, I like to make what we call "ramen drop soup" basically, crack and egg, stir it up, boil, add noodles, seasoning, and eat ^_^
The Green Giant individual serving of broccoli and cheese are great, too. There's an awful lot of stems in it, but that doesn't stop Anja. They really come in handy on those nights that you feel you'd have enough to eat without a veggie, but you want your little one to have something. (She usually won't eat the whole thing, so at least I end up having some, too, lol) Or, make 2 if you're in a pinch for a veggie with dinner. It's really a good amount for 3 people (well, 2 adults and a toddler..) from 2 packs.
I like to buy random fresh fruits for her. I don't eat too many, myself, but she LOVES them. So far, her top 3 favorites are strawberries, banannas (of course), and kiwi. She also is quite fond of mango and papaya. Having a really out of the ordinary fruit along with a semi-blah meal really makes things more exciting heart

Now that watermelons and Honeydews and Canteloupes and Pineapple are in season you can buy the small personal Watermelon, then you cut it all up and make a fruit salad and add grapes and strawberries even a can of mandarin oranges and you have a yummy salad to go with dinner or lunch and it even makes a nice refreshing snack on those hot days and it will last 3-4 days in the fridge.... Another way to have your fruits is to buy them fresh then wash them and drain them and put them in ziploc bags and get some vanilla yogurt and maybe some orange sherbert and orange juice and ice put in a blender and you have all the makings of smoothie and the kids love it... Especially on hot days

I use hair conditioner as an in shower moisturizer. I just put it on after I wash my body, wait a few mins and then wash it off. It makes my skin smooth and when I get out of the shower I don't have to put lotion on.

i have one about mosiquetos.
listerine sprayed around where your sitting and stuff works as well as the dryer sheet in your pocket.
also, for ants in your house. make a border around your windows and around on the floor next to the wall..with windex. youll never see them again, i learned that when i had a bunch comming into my room when i was a teenager..and i was cleaning my windows at the time..so i decided to kill them all by drowning them in windex.
Anywho! it worked lol but it worked better cause it actually stopped them from comming in the future. I tried that when we moved into our new house..and it worked. So I guess it wasn't just me scaring them away.
