...why yes, Des is doing a second quest! xD This is a quest for Leviathan, conflicted Keyblader-to-be! Why? First of all, she adores his parents. Secondly, KHII is teh best game evar and her fangirlism requires a tribute to it and third...she just loves her Leviathan. Wish me luck, dearlings~ heart

Ansem Report 5 To study Heartless behavior, I picked one out for observation. It wiggled its antennae and as if sensing a target, headed deep into the castle. In the deepest part of the castle, its antennae began vibrating as if searching for something. Suddenly a strange door appeared. I'd never known of its existence. It had a large keyhole, but didn't seem to be locked. So I opened the door. What I saw on the other side mystified me. What was that powerful mass of energy? That night I observed a great meteor shower in the sky. Could it be related to the door that I have opened? Ansem Report 6 A massive core of energy lay beyond the door sought by the Heartless. It may well be the ultimate goal of all Heartless. But what is that energy? I gave devised a hypothesis, based upon my observations of the Heartless. The Heartless feed on others' hearts and they yearn for that energy core. That thing beyond the door must be a heart too -- the heart of this world. There is no proof, but having felt that immense energy I am certain. That was the heart of the world. Ansem Report 8 As a start I built a device that artificially creates Heartless. By recreating the conditions that spawn the Heartless naturally, I should be able to produce them artificially. This device is the culmination of all my research thus far. The machine's test run successfully created a Heartless. This may be a step towards creating a heart from nothing. The artificially and naturally created Heartless showed nearly identical traits. But the two types should remain distinct for the purpose of this experiment. So I will mark those that are created artificially. Ansem Report 9 It seems that my opening that door has opened a path to interworld travel. We talked for countless hours but one story in particular caught my interest, that of a key called the "keyblade". The keyblade is said to hold phenomenal power. One legend says its wielder saved the world, while another says he wrought chaos and ruin upon it. I must know what this keyblade is. A key opens doors. It must be connected to the door that I have opened. Ansem Report 10 And deep within each world lies a door to its heart. The Heartless desire those hearts. Born out of the darkness in people's hearts, they seek to return to a greater heart. Yes that's it. The Heartless come from people's hearts as does the darkness. Is the core of the world's heart the world of the Heartless? I will pursue the answer there and become all-knowing. My path is set. I shall seek out the wielder of the keyblade and the princesses. My body is too frail for such a journey but I must do this. I will cast it off and plunge into the depths of the darkness. Secret Ansem Report 2 A tiny king named Mickey came wielding a legendary key—the infamous “Keyblade,” said to bring both chaos and prosperity to the world. Secret Ansem Report 3 It appears my other five apprentices, believing it was for the sake of research, stared deep into the darkness and were pulled into it. Even, Ienzo, Bleig, Dilin, and Eleus… They have ceased to be human. I, too, have had everything taken away from me, banished to a hollow realm of nothingness. Secret Ansem Report 6 At the center of the hearts Xehanort had stolen was “Kingdom Hearts,” which attracts tremendous darkness to itself and attempts to send any and all matter back into its depths. All these are in game references, and the best I could find describing hearts and Keyblades and Keybladers...so...hopefully this is pretty good? Long and short of it, Heartless are spawned from darkness and could be created artifically, which lead Xehanort to believe he could create hearts artifically. Juno read these reports and first created Rook and Angelique, without hearts, as synthetic Nobodies were easiest. Saint was reborn from Heartless and his heart was closely studied. The same machine used to create Rook and Angelique was used to try and create a 'pure' heart. Once the heart was created, it needed a vessel, so Juno took the DNA of the lab tech he so enjoyed torturing and some of his own (after all, every great mind needs an hier). Now, all the child needs is a body and soul...and that, dears, is where the Cabbage Patch comes in. Juno sends Rook for the papers and Rook so sneakily slips them into Sable's pile. Sable, always in a hurry, signs them without looking and Rook returns them as told. Sable receives a cabbage, and he very well can't give it back! Excellent, thinks Juno. He opens the cabbage (the cabbage suffers substantial damage, oh dear) and proceeds to insert the heart he created while the child is still 'incubating'. The child will be left with a scar over his 'heart'. Despite Juno's tampering, the child will arrive, seemingly unharmed. And behold, we shall call him Leviathan!

Personality[cabbage]; Typical cabbage. It will like sun and water and would prefer not to be eaten. Please to be protecting from deer! [toddler]; Leviathan will be very curious by nature. Both his ‘parents’ are scientists, and Levi will inherit this thirst for knowledge. He will venture off by himself even if Sable tells him not to, going on exciting adventures in the stairwell or the garden outside the apartment. His imagination will be wildly overactive, but it won’t be full of fantasies. Everything will be well grounded –according to toddler’s logic, that is- and have a reason. Similarly, when he asks a question, he wants an explanation, not a simple answer. ‘Because’ is not a satisfactory response to the question ‘why is the sky blue’. Given, he is incredibly gullible and he would accept ‘the gods liked their blue crayon the best’ as an answer. When he gets older, he will continue to be naive, but he will start figuring out when someone might be trying to pull the wool over his eyes. What comes with curiosity but a generally outgoing disposition? On his quest for knowledge, Levi will undoubtedly run across people he doesn’t know. Instead of getting shy and withdrawn like his father, Levi will happily introduce himself and promptly ask this new person all about themselves, unaware people might not want to disclose all their personal secrets. Leviathan is a sucker for secrets, but he’s not very good at keeping them. He doesn’t mean to spill the beans, it just sort of comes out. Sable will take it upon himself to teach the boy to be more careful, especially if he’s going to grow up in a very scientific (and thus, dangerous) environment. At the time, Leviathan knows no fears or boundaries. He’s blissfully unaware of the problems between his parents and of the world in general. Any problems caused by his creation have yet to be discovered and Leviathan will continue on his merry way. [child]; Already, things will start to change. First and foremost, the troubles between his ‘parents’ are bound to erupt before he grows into a child, thus changing his life dramatically. Levi will be forced to endure screaming arguments (the screaming one being Sable) he doesn’t understand and the aftermath of foul emotions. Juno will be cold and cruel, Sable teary-eyed and wishy-washy. This change in his basic home life will teach Levi to dislike his father with great intensity. Sable is the one who has always taken care of him, so it is only natural for him to side with his guardian. The situation also takes away a great deal of the boy’s immaturity at a young age, exposing him to cruel truths such as disloyalty, dishonesty and the human desire to look out only for one’s self. Sable starts coming up short along the lines of parenting, but Leviathan forgives him and simply blames it on Juno, his scapegoat. Despite the rather dark cloud settling over Levi’s family, he is still a generally cheerful kid. Nothing can quench his curiosity and once he discovers the wonders of books, he simply can’t put them down. He likes to accompany his father to his lab sometimes, eager to help him with the experiments. He is also probably one of the few children who really, honestly enjoys school. As luck would have it, Sable too was a bit of a ‘nerd’ as a child, and warned his son against the dangers of rubbing it in other kids’ faces. Hopefully, Levi will heed this advice. It’s not only academics that pique the boy’s interest, however. He wants to learn everything, how to draw, how to paint, how to play soccer, anything. He’ll try anything once, and if he doesn’t like it, he simply settles with never trying it again. Leviathan is not a dominant personality. He comes up with witty ideas, but he’d rather let the other children make the decisions, even if it’s the wrong one. First, this lets him observe his peers to learn reactions and how they differ between children and the grownups. Secondly, and far more important, it keeps the boy out of trouble. Staying out of trouble will be a large portion of the boy’s personality. Juno has a wrath and one of Sable’s charges, Rook, has an even more formidable one. Keeping on their good side is a must, so Levi quickly learns the benefits of lying (when he can get away with it, that is). He is not by any means impulsive when it comes to making a decision, he weighs the pros and cons to the best of his knowledge. This process, of course, is easily abandoned by the urging of his peers. As stated earlier, he is a follower, not a leader and will happily follow the crowd simply for the sake of it. Peer pressure, man. He just gives in. The little change in his genetics has started to rear its head. He seems to have a very keen sense of right and wrong (given, he’s a little boy, he doesn’t always listen to this innate sense) from a young age. Juno could not create a real heart genetically, so the one Leviathan has is mostly made up of light. It’s a ‘pure’ heart, if you will, even if it’s completely fake. Sable does not have the heart to tell him, so Leviathan remains, once again, blissfully unaware. [pre-teen]; Leviathan continues to harbor harsh feelings towards Juno. He refuses to forgive him for what he did to Sable, even if Sable forgives him. However, he’s slowly losing his outgoing touch and becoming more introverted, and never offers his opinion as such. He keeps up with what friends he already has, but makes no effort to gain any more. He’s unwilling to go to social events unless a large group of his friends are going and he never invites anyone over to his house. EVER. He’s embarrassed with the way things work, even if Juno rarely makes an appearance at Sable’s house, and refuses to let anyone know about the problems. It’s not their business. He tries to put on a front like nothing is wrong, typical of most children facing this sort of problem. Sable and Juno aren’t his only problems at home. Leviathan and Rook -the eldest of Sable’s charges- butt heads like wild animals. Levi blames Rook for the problems with Juno. Rook is a synthetic Nobody and his emotions are…unpredictable. Technically, they don’t exist. (When Juno created him, he just didn’t give him a heart. Nobodies don’t have hearts.) He is, however, incredibly sadistic and enjoys causing anguish for Leviathan and Saint (Sable’s other charge, a Neoshadow reborn, who’s heart is mainly dark. See a pattern?). Naturally, Levi isn’t willing to let all the problems he’s called the mismatched family go and calls him out periodically. Rook is built to fight and a full grown adult. Leviathan is a preteen and has the fighting skills of a newt. He loses every time. Saint takes pity on him and will start teaching him how to defend himself, if nothing else. Levi will make himself one of Rook’s adversaries and thus, he is forced to continue his lying if he wants to survive. While still interested in learning, Levi isn’t as parched for information as he was before. His love has shifted slightly. He’s learned how very wonderful books are, and seems to have his nose in them quite often. Having become an avid reader, he’s also started to try his hand at writing. He tries all types of writing, essays, stories, poems, whatever he can find. He’ll probably find a peer to be his ‘editor’. He also takes great pleasure in illustrating said stories and poems, though right now his art talent extends to doodles and sketches, and that’s it. As for his heart, Leviathan seems to have an ever-growing sense of righteousness, which helps nobody. He’s frustrated with both parents for mistakes they’ve made and starts holding that sort of thing against people. He needs to realize mistakes are just that, mistakes. He’s at the age where nothing can touch him, and his pure heart makes him look down upon those who don’t do good. This does not mean Leviathan is perfect, or that he never does anything wrong. He makes plenty of bad choices and promptly feels really guilty afterwards. At this stage, Leviathan will gain a Keyblade. It will appear one day when he’s defending himself from Rook. He’ll have no idea how to use it and he won’t tell anyone he has it. He can’t summon it at will, so to speak. It only comes as it pleases, so he can’t really practice unless he’s defending him. Since his heart isn’t ‘real’, he can’t control it. On the same note, he comes down really hard on himself when he feels he didn’t do the right thing, and the Keyblade fails to come to his aide. [teenager]; Oh, lucky boy, the hormones have hit. With these hormones, he, like every other teenager, will become more rebellious, prone to wild mood swings and a victim of lust. This is nothing special. What is special, however, is the way he reacts to his heart. He’s finally been told the circumstances and seems to have a hard time grasping the situation. What does having a fake heart mean? He’s becoming more concerned with his fake heart than the problems in his family. Hopefully, Sable’s situation has settled. With a Keyblade at his disposal, Leviathan’s encounters with Rook have lessened in frequency, but are much more violent. He refuses to tell anyone these problems because they are his problems and he can solve them. It wouldn’t be right to burden someone else with them. Leviathan continues to have a growing sense of right and wrong, and the teen’s slowly becoming more and more driven to do the right thing. Like his father, when he does something wrong, he feels horribly guilty and will probably do something stupid and not well thought out. Leviathan’s also becoming a pretty accomplished writer. Much to his father’s dismay, he shows much more of an interest in writing and art than science. This is not to say he doesn’t care about school, for he definitely still cares to bring home excellent grades. He just takes the most pleasure from English, especially writing. He’s found a home in writing fantasy stories and drawing small sketches to accompany them. It could almost be called an escape from his less than pleasant reality. He also loves to read; he’ll read anything that’s handed to him. Reading is his favorite way to learn, though hands-on is a close second. He really doesn’t like sitting and taking notes. Listening to someone drawl on his boring, and his notes are probably littered with little doodles. Not too much can be said about his personality at this stage, because it’s subject to change after RP. Note: That being said, his entire personality after toddler stage is subject to change if given a reason in RP. I suppose this is given, but I thought I oughta include it anyways.Note Number Two: If ye read the Secret/Ansem Reports, you probably wonder why Leviathan gets along with Saint better than Rook. While Heartless are slain by Keybladers, it's always been Rook going after both Leviathan and Saint. When Levi gets his keyblade, I'm sure things will get rough. However, they will probably remain in each other's good graces. After it, it is the lesser of two evils. They have bigger problems.AppearanceAll I want is mismatched eyes and a scar over his heart. The rest is up to the artist and should be based on Juno’s and Sable’s appearance. Also, in child or teen stage, he should be getting his Keyblade, so I’d appreciate that in the picture too…but that’s it. Really. I like surprises.

[keyblader]; When Leviathan hits pre-teen years (give or take a little), he will get his Keyblade. Since he is not Sora, it will not be the Kingdom Key. It will be something unique solely to Leviathan, and it shall be called the Northern Light. Just like the ‘light’ of his heart, those lights aren’t real either, and rather suiting. Skill with the Keyblade won’t come naturally and will require lots of practice, something he can’t have. [PRO] Leviathan can defend himself and potentially unlock/lock the doors to worlds…if he could ever keep the Keyblade long enough to hunt one down. [CON] Leviathan, since his heart is fake, cannot summon the blade at will. Therefore, he cannot practice…and he rather fails at using it. That being said, Leviathan wielding a Keyblade is only slightly more dangerous than Leviathan without. [see the light]; Leviathan’s heart is, while fake, still pure. When he gets older, he starts forming the ability to ‘see’ the aura surrounding someone’s heart. It could be light, like his, or it could be ‘dark’, like a Heartless. Seeing the darkness sets off alarms in the boy’s head, even if he can’t call up his Keyblade to do something about it. [PRO] Leviathan can get the general gist of someone without getting to know them. [CON] First appearances can be deceiving. Also, the darkness encourages Leviathan to be more hostile, even if the person means no harm whatsoever. He could even be called judgmental. No, his powers aren’t impressive, and no, there aren’t many. A small bit of magic-casting comes with the ability of Keyblading, but that would require Leviathan to practice, which he can’t do. At least, not in the beginning. It’s very possible he could develop the ability to use simple spells such as Fire and Blizzard if he finally gets some practice in.

Name: Sable Hazard Gender: Male Age: 23 Nationality: British Occupation: Lab Technician/Student Appearance: Sable is, most noticeably, a shrimp. He’s only 5’ 1” and pretty thin. His skin is fair and his hair is black and down to his nape. It’s horribly messy, brushing it in the morning is basically running his fingers through it. He wears black-rimmed glasses with a prescription that’s too weak and the glasses themselves are too large (they usually slide down his nose). His eyes are brownish, the same hue as coffee with cream. He usually has a pencil tucked behind his ear and he’s usually wearing his white lab coat. He is, after all, working in Juno’s lab a good deal of the time. When he’s home, he’s in very casual clothing, jeans, a t-shirt and a sweatshirt, and when he’s out, it’s always a button-down shirt and a pair of khakis. He does try to make good impressions. Personality: Sable is a complicated person. He’s got shy, stuttering Sable, which usually comes out with new people, and headstrong, short-tempered Sable, which is reserved for the lab. Sable does not have multiple personalities. He’s simply a shy person, and it takes a while for him to come out of his shell. Before he does, he’s very easy to fluster and make blush. He’s very easy to tease and he won’t fight back. He stutters and stammers quite a lot and has a hard time making eye contact. He has to get a feel for someone before he figures out how to interact with them. He’s generally very objective and tries to stay out of people’s business, especially if he doesn’t know them well. Once he gets to know people, he’s a lot more smiley and open. In fact, he’s rather loud and naive. He’s book smart, not people smart. He usually voices his opinion, and if he finds it’s not the one he wishes to favor, he’ll be very open about the once he does support. He takes pride in being quick-witted and quicker tongued and is always very sharp when dealing with Juno. It’s a vicious game they play, and while Sable always ends up on the losing end, he’s determined to take a chunk out of Juno with him as he goes. Sable isn’t a leader, and he’d much rather take the orders and follow them to the best of his ability. Being put in the spotlight makes him squirm no matter how well he knows the people. Sable’s very worried about people he cares about, and it’s not hard for him to get attached. He wants nothing more than their well-being and gets very hurt when he’s put off for it. Sable is easily hurt, however, so that’s not much of a feat. He gets over it quickly. As for the bigger hurts, he denies it ever happened, but we digress. Sable is also a very, very guilty person. He’s always ready to accept the blame for an accident and always beats himself up over it, even if it wasn’t preventable. It should be noted that Sable is very weak when it comes to Juno. No, the two are not in a relationship, no, they will not be raising Leviathan together. Sable's devotion to Juno is unhealthy. Juno enjoys bringing him down, and Sable lets him do it. Sure, he bites back, but the whole thing is rather odd. Sable continues to have faith in Juno nevertheless. Likes: Work, the lab, learning new things, hanging out with Mercury and Nereus, reading, hanging out with his charges, doing experiments, Saint Dislikes: Being teased, faithlessness, being lied to, being tricked or otherwise taken advantage of, idleness, stupidity, Rook’s attitude History: Sable has one older brother, Jenos, and one younger brother, Valen. As the middle child, he was generally the invisible. It suited him just fine. When he was young and home-schooled, Jenos picked on him terribly. Sable learned the best defense was to act like he didn’t care. It worked fairly well and Jenos left for boarding school when Sable was six. Valen was born when he was seven. He didn’t get to know his younger brother too well, as he was also shipped off to a boarding school in the US at age ten, like his brother and his father. Sable enjoyed boarding school, to be blatantly honest. He was an intelligent kid. He was not extraordinary, but understood what it was to apply himself. Good results came from hard work. He didn’t have too many friends, but enough to keep him company. Life at the boarding school was nothing interesting. The school was well-known enough and his grades were good enough to get him into a fairly well-known school and he started his degree in the sciences. Once he hit his junior year, he found himself at a roadblock. Sable didn’t know, and still doesn’t know, what science he wants to major in. So, instead of wasting his time and money pursuing courses he may not settle on, Sable left school for the real world. He got himself a job as a lab tech, he could save up money to continue school and he could experience the different sciences and pick the one that suited him best. He’s also been on an expedition to China. Currently, he cares for two of Juno’s experiments, Rook, who hates him, and Saint, who’s pretty nice. NPC Blurb: Lab Research Assistant » Sable was the middle child of a fairly wealthy British family. He came over to the States at age ten for boarding school and rarely left. He was a hardworking student and graduated on the high honor roll. He got into a good college, but he didn't finish his degree. Instead, he's currently working for various scientists, trying his hands at the different types before settling himself in a profession for good. He doesn't want to be stuck with something he hates! besides, being the assistant, not the man in charge, is a much more comfortable position for him. NPC Type: Restricted, please.

Name: Juno Dagon Gender: Male Age: 35 Nationality: Canadian Occupation: Genetic/biochemical engineer Appearance: Juno is moderately tall and quite thin, standing just under six feet in height. His hair is orange-red, straight, and sleek. He wears it cropped to somewhere almost-shoulder-length, with long bangs that fall across and into his eyes. Those eyes are hazel, and Juno neither wears nor needs glasses, although he spends most of his time in lab goggles. When he works in the lab, which is most of the time, Juno ties his hair up in a ponytail and pins his bangs back. His overall appearance is vaguely feminine, offset by his obviously masculine movements and mannerisms. Generally, unless he is at home—which is almost never—Juno wears a simple dress shirt and tie under a lab coat. The coat always starts out pressed and spotless, although by the end of the day it has usually acquired some stains or burns. His pants are generally pressed and usually khaki. Overall, Juno is tidy in appearance. Personality: Juno is not a very nice person. He is cold and clinical, and he seems to be under the impression that he cannot be a nice person. From a very young age, he was the best and the smartest, and he has not been wrong about anything in his area of expertise (science and academics) since he was about five years old. He is egotistical, cold, and disdainful toward everyone else. The laboratory is his life, and he has no problem with spending day after day in there working. He has never had a relationship grounded in affection, viewing people with the same sort of interest that he views experiments with. That said, he is beginning to learn otherwise, though he doesn’t realize it. He is slowly falling in love with his laboratory technician—young Sable Hazard, though he doesn’t realize that he feels any differently about him, other than feeling bad when he does something rude. In general, Juno has absolutely no remorse. He will hurt or use or insult people and not feel the least bit bad about it. His clinical upbringing and engorged ego from an early age seems to have left him rather empty. He takes real pleasure in embarrassing people and pointing out how wrong they are, and also in making people cry. Guilt is such a rarely-felt emotion in Juno that he cannot actually identify what it is. In short, his conscience is dead. That-said, Juno does have one real love: his science. Juno is enamored with the lab and works tirelessly on his projects, putting his entire being into them until they are perfect. He is fascinated by the human genome, and his successes with cloning are the result of the effort he puts into his craft. His passion for genetics and biochemistry and his brilliance are what earned him his status and honours. Because of the areas on which Juno is now experimenting, his heart has been affected by darkness, and he is beginning to develop a sort of mild psychosis. It hasn’t revealed itself yet, and only time will tell if it becomes true insanity. For now, Juno is not a mad scientist. He is merely a scientist. Likes: work, the lab, making Sable miserable, playing with DNA, experimenting on living subjects, hurting lesser animals, flipping the bird to the codes of ethics, Sable Dislikes: the liberal arts, poetry, ‘feminine’ things, people who challenge him, people who infringe on his territory, having to leave in the middle of an experiment, messy lab areas, physics History: Juno was born the only child to a quantum physicist and a college chemistry instructor, who died in a lab accident when Juno was two. He did not have much contact with his father, who worked long hours at the lab, generally dumping Juno in nursery school until late hours, when he would bring the boy home and lecture him on in-depth science topics. So basically, Juno grew up a scientist. His father taught him basic addition when he was three, and he learned to read at an early age. While he didn’t understand much that Dad talked about, he was a very bright boy and picked up on early childhood learning much more quickly than an average child. He was sent to kindergarten when he was five, where he learned absolutely nothing and gave up in disgust. He found that making fun of the other children, none of whom seemed to know anything about atoms or math beyond counting, was a good way to pass the time. He was frequently sent home with notes from the teacher about his bullying problems and, although he never laid a finger on another student, he was almost always in trouble. These problems continued, and Juno continued learning at a far more rapid pace than his peers. By fifth grade, Juno had exhausted the science and math class possibilities in his kindergarten-to-eighth school, and his father had him removed from classes and set him up with a private tutor. The eleven-year-old progressed rapidly in those areas, but he did poorly in other subjects, like English and the social sciences. This didn’t seem to bother father or son, and by the time Juno was fifteen, he had completed chemistry and biology to the college level and was excelling at calculus. His sophomore English grade was a B, and he was barely passing social studies. All the same, he was accepted into a prestigious institute of technology for dual-enrollment courses in biology and calculus. At age eighteen, Juno had completed four years’ worth of college science and math courses, and he moved into graduate programs, obtaining the college credits he needed for his MBA in biochemistry. He spent two years as a lab tech for a prestigious genetic engineering company, and then went for his master’s degree in genetic engineering. Now aged twenty-five, Juno and two classmates moved on to work as scientists in the same company they had once all worked in as techs. Two years later, fed up with the company, they branched off and started a company of their own. This company, an independent research organization, is flourishing, but Juno has decided to break from it for now and seeks work someplace else—his arrogance is driving him to find something better to take credit for, something he won’t have to share with partners.

Name: Rook Hazard Gender: Hermaphrodite Age: Technically five, biologically twenty-two Species: Nobody Element: Smoke Appearance: Rook is a strange looking fellow. Most noticeable are his ashen skin and the white Nobody symbol tattooed on his face. He was born that way. His hair is a lighter shade of grey and his eyes are also grey. He dresses in monochromatic clothing and is almost always wearing a scowl or a nasty smirk. He is usually followed by a small shroud of low-lying smoke. He stands much taller than Sable, about 5’ 9”, and he’s built much more substantially as well. He’s got muscle, he is, after all, a creature made to fight as well as experimented on fairly often. Personality: Rook is heartless…literally. He listens to no one and doesn’t give a damn if he hurts your feelings. The only one he considers obeying is Juno, and there’s reasons behind that. Juno created him and draws Rook in like the porch lamp draws in insects. In fact, it could be said Rook enjoys causing strife. Once he finds a weak point in someone’s personality, he’ll pick and prod and aggravate until the point of collapse. He can’t help it, he’s naturally a hunter and aggressive ‘personality’. That’s what it takes to survive. Juno did not create him to fail. Once Rook discovers and exposes the hurt, he leaves his victim to suffer after he creates the most possible damage. He never has thoughts of fixing it, or of regret. That would require him caring. Because of this, he never thinks of the consequences of his actions. Punishments have no effect on him, because he honestly does not care. Sable can’t control him and as a result, Sable gets hurt. Saint is a lesser being (Nobodies can command Heartless), so he fears him. Rook senses the light in Leviathan’s heart, so he feels driven to strike out at it. Once the boy becomes a Keyblader, a natural sort of fear is instilled in him. A Keyblader did wipe out the originals, after all. Rook has no goals. Rook lives to serve, he is what would be classified as a neophyte, a ‘lesser’ Nobody. He, while aggressive, has no desire to lead. Juno tells him what to do, what to attack, what to bring back, and that’s what he does. That’s how he was created. Since he never had a past life with a heart, he does not have any memories for which to base proper responses to other people off of. He is a socially inept creature, so Sable tries to keep him home.

Name: Saint Hazard Gender: Androgynous Age: Technically three, biologically seventeen Species: Heartless/Neoshadow Appearance: Something went so very, very wrong and Saint has made a 180 reversal since childhood. Cherished hair ruined, pink gone and make up replaced with tattoos, Saint’s suddenly declared himself male. He ruined his once lovely hair by dreading it and dying a few unlucky strands the same hue of red as a heart. If he wants that hair gone, he’ll have to shave it off. His girly, well-planned outfits have been replaced with slapdash combinations of black jeans, band t-shirts and other loose-fitting clothing. Often, his jeans are too large and he refuses to wear a belt. His claws are now ripped and jagged rather than neatly filed down. He wears army-type boots. The make-up is certainly gone, replacing it with various tattoos. Some pertain to Heartless, some to hearts and some are just various designs he found appealing. He hasn’t abandoned his jewelry, but now wears less hearts and more plain silver, as though displaying some power he doesn’t actually have. He favors piercings and rings over necklaces (chokers are something else entirely) and bracelets. Saint stands about 5’7”, but he often slumps or crouches. He's in excellent physical condition, and he’s started jogging and sparring to keep in shape. His antennas are finally at full length and now appear crimped (it’s natural). Personality: Somewhere along the line, Saint snapped. When puberty struck, Saint was left out. In the confusion, she decided she must really be meant to be a ‘he’. Just like that, Saint changec his gender. With his new look comes a whole new attitude. To prove himself, he feels he must really ‘be a man’. In truth, Saint completely overdoes the entire stereotype. He spends a great deal of time fighting –he really prides himself in his skill- and he will let the smallest arguments quickly escalate to fist-fights if he can get away with it...though, this usually only occurs with his brother, not outsiders. He’s much more interested in being in fighting-form, academic prowess rarely occurs to him. Barely able to speak, it is highly probably he can’t read. The most important thing to Saint, however, is being a member of the group. The other guys seem to like the ladies, so Saint decides he must like them too, but once again, he overdoes it. Saint is a terrible womanizer, quickly learning how to flirt and please the girls. If he can, he’ll steal a lady from another man. He’ll make fun of any boy he deems girly. It could be said Saint is a jerk, but his biggest fear is being rejected from the ‘clan’. While driven to prove that yes, he really is a guy, he can only work for himself for so long. He needs to please the crowd. He needs approval, he needs his peers. He is a loyal supporter (never a leader himself); he’ll fight to the death for his leader and the cause. Saint’s speech has only improved slightly. His sentences are very simple and the grammar is often not correct, but he can convey basic thoughts with relative ease. He still doesn’t use names often and he hasn’t abandoned his imaginary friends, even if he’s long since outgrown them. Should real people ever abandon him, he needs those figments of his imagination to fall back on, or he will completely lose it. As mentioned earlier, Saint never experiences hormones. He’ll never understand the emotional roller coasters, facial breakouts and crazy mad lust all other teenagers battle. Heartless don’t breed, so Saint wasn’t given the equipment or the desire. It will take a long time for him to understand the concept of dating. Should he ever decide to date, it will be someone he truly has deep affection for; he cannot base it on anything else. When he flirts with pretty girls, it’s only to fit in, it’s only what he picked up from the other guys. He’d never actually date them. He continues to avoid sunlight, but he’s getting better about taking things that aren’t his. In fact, he rarely does it. His heart collection is pretty substantial by this age, so he doesn’t feel as driven to gather more. Something Saint does show very often is his kinder side. He's afraid, and this is mostly Rook's fault, that it will make him seem less of a guy. He's still nice to Leviathan, as he suffers the same way he does. He respects Sable as well, and treats him as he does Leviathan. He's nicer with his friends, but that's the way it is with most teenagers, isn't it? Saint is very good with children, surprisingly. When he doesn't feel threatened, he's mellow, and he never feels threatened by children at all. In fact, he feels a need to protect them when someone else is being nasty to them. He can't speak well, but children usually seem to be more understanding of that sort of thing. They're more imaginative and can figure out his means of communication better. In fact, Saint prefers the company of kids to adults. Likes: Heart jewelry, friends, children, shadows, his hair, being active, watching TV, playing games, sunglasses Dislikes: Reading, being lonely, the sunshine, being told how to dress, being picked on, sitting still, other teenagers, Rook NPC Blurb: Daycare Worker » Saint was created as one of Juno's experiments. He was put under Sable's care, as he is the lab tech, as well as Juno's other experiment, Rook. He went from toddler to teenager in three years, and seems to be stuck there. He'd much rather work with children than adults, and Sable decided he needed to get out of the house, so Saint decided to get a job at the daycare. He's very happy working with kids, mucher happier than working with people his age, they seem to bring out the best in him. That being said, he likes making them happy, so he's easily manipulated. NPC Type: Restricted, please.

Name: Rylenn McGreggors Gender: Male Age: 16 Nationality: Irish/Greek Occupation: Student Personality: Rylenn is a generally untrusting individual. He fears being rejected so he has developed a dislike for most people. He keeps people at a distance so he won't have to care about them and get hurt again. Once you get under his skin, though, he is fiercely protective. He can even have severe bouts of jealousy which force him to distance himself further from people. Likes: drawing, magical beings, magic, books, fantasy Dislikes: Catholics, most women, pornographic materials, prostitutes, drugs Sable met Rylenn in China and became very good friends with him. As it were, you must be wondering why Sable would ask him to be Levi's godfather. Well, to be quite frank, Sable would not want care of Leviathan to go to Juno should he ever become unable. (Not that I ever plan to give Leviathan away. EVAR. It's for the sake of his story. Sable asking Rylenn to be godfather would also be played out, not assumed.) NOTE: All info about Rylenn is taken from his journal at Shinkami School of Saviors. Teh Bunnah Ninja is aware that I listed this here, I asked her about it beforehand, of course.

“STOP IT!” Leviathan screamed, voice hoarse as the boy attempted to jerk Rook’s chains from his wrists.
“Make me,” the Nobody snarled, slowly reeling the boy in like a thrashing fish. The longer Leviathan fought, the more exhausted he’d be when he finally gave in, making Rook’s job that much easier. He just had to exercise a little patience.
“DAAAAD!” the boy hollered, jerking again. Rook might be stronger than him, but his father definitely favored him over the Nobody. Not that it was a surprise, really. He could be a slug and not related to his father at all, and he was still pretty sure his father would like him better. Rook was one of the meanest creatures it had even been his misfortune to encounter.
“He’s gone out,” Rook hissed, giving one of the chains a good jerk, smiling as Leviathan’s face contorted in a scowl. “Back to the lab, if I’m not mistaken.”
Leviathan groaned. Why was his father always running back to the lab? He was there so much, he might as well add his bed and he could just…move in, or something! He tugged his arms back sharply and was rewarded with a piercing jolt of pain all the way back in his shoulders as Rook didn’t give an inch. All the Nobody had to do was hold on, Levi realized, and he’d do all the damage to himself and Rook wouldn’t have to lift a finger. Good plan. Rook couldn’t really get in trouble if Levi was the one inflicting pain upon himself. Technically. It would depend on how tired Dad was when he got home. In which case, it would probably be a better idea to get free before Dad left the lab and avoid the problem all together. Yes. Much better solution.
“SAAAAAAINT!”
Rook snickered. “Can’t fight for yourself, dearling?” he mocked, using Sable’s affectionate nickname for his son. “Unfortunately for you, brother, Sable took Saint to the lab today.”
“Wh-what!?” Levi blinked, bewildered. None of them were taken to the lab without a cause. There were too many fragile things, too many corrosive things and just too much trouble to get into if one didn’t know what they were doing.
“You heard me,” the man purred, grabbing the opportunity and quickly hauled Leviathan in a foot or two while he stood, shell-shocked. He flicked an ivory strand of hair from his face as he eyed the boy. “Just you and me, kiddo.”
Leviathan winced. Such a sickly sweet tone could only mean Rook made plans for today. He dug his heels into the carpet and started to pull again, to no avail. Carpets and socks worked together, not against each other. Leviathan promptly fell with a loud ‘thump’.
“Need me to kiss your boo-boo?” Rook cooed, dark eyes sparkling with pure, sadistic glee. He dragged his brother the rest of the way across the floor until he was resting at the foot of the couch. “I’ll be gentle…”
“NO!” Leviathan shrieked, attempting to leap to his feet. The links clanged together, boldly declaring the boy Rook’s prisoner. He knew what Rook did when he thought he was going to get away with it. Rook was evil. He knew he was, he could just tell. Given, the crazy Nobody didn’t actually have a heart for him to peer at, but it didn’t matter. He didn’t need to see the aura. He didn’t need to read it. He just knew. Maybe Rook was just that dark, maybe darkness leaked from his pores and- And that was totally ridiculous. He needed data. In the mean time-
“Damnit!” he squealed, the chains on his wrists suddenly biting into his skin.
“You were getting boring,” Rook replied nonchalantly, looking up from his fingernails. He gave another quick jerk, grunting in satisfaction when Leviathan almost tipped over. “Entertain me.”
Leviathan snorted, taken aback. “I’m not your monkey!” he exclaimed indignantly, struggling to balance himself on the balls of his heels.
“Oh?” Rook mused, giving another tug, effectively toppling the twelve-year-old.
“Just lemme go and watch TV, or something,” Leviathan sighed, silently accepting his defeat. “I’ll give you the clicker,” he added. Giving Rook things always made him more amiable.
Rook yawned. “Not interested.” Games were much more entertaining than a plastic box with colored pixels any day. “I think I asked you to dance, monkey-boy. I’m not feeling patient.” He growled a little, grinding his teeth.
Leviathan snarled at the neophyte. “******** you,” he muttered, staying exactly where Rook had sprawled him.
It took a moment for the Nobody to register his younger brother’s defiance before actually snapping into action. The ashen man was on his feet in the blink of an eye, releasing the boy from his iron grip for a split second before summoning the chains again. He growled before flicking a wrist, sending his metal fury careening towards the boy on the floor.
Leviathan yowled, rolling to his left in the knick of time. “Rook!” he yelled, slightly shocked the confrontation had escalated to violence so quickly. “Stop!”
Rook said nothing, instead continuing the ritual of older brother pummeling the youngest.
“Stop it!” Leviathan cried again, scrambling to his feet. Rook quickly launched a chain, snaring it around the boy’s ankle and tugging until he fell sideways. It was fortunate he was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt; he proved to be much harder to bruise when he was wearing clothing like that.
“Rook!” Leviathan pleaded, holding up his arms as the Nobody towered over him. He wasn’t sure why he hadn’t stopped picking fights yet. Rook was clearly bigger and stronger and just so much better at combat it wasn’t even funny, and yet, he couldn’t seem to help prodding Rook into violence. Well, when he was feeling passive, anyways. When he was already feeling aggressive, he really had no choice. He’d need to learn to avoid Rook better.
Rook ignored his brother’s pleas, swinging his chain down right at the boy’s shoulder.
-Clang!-
…the chain hadn’t hit?
Leviathan slowly opened his eyes, staring in wonder at the object he wasn’t holding three seconds ago. What ever it was, where ever it came from and whoever it was from, the boy couldn’t help but to be undyingly grateful to the forces that brought it to him.
“You’re a Keyblader?” Rook hissed, much like a threatened cobra. He took a step back, bumping into the ancient couch behind him.
Leviathan’s jaw dropped and he simply gazed at the colorful piece of metal in his hand. This was a Keyblade? He’d heard about them in stories all the time, how Keybladers saved the world as they knew it. Keybladers were celebrated heroes. He wasn’t a hero! It couldn’t be right.
“…it doesn’t look like a key.” There. Problem solved.
Rook snorted. “You don’t pay attention very well, then. Only the Kingdom Key really looks like a key.” He eyed the weapon warily. “That is definitely a Keyblade.”
“…oh.” Leviathan hauled himself to his feet, testing the weight of the object before it suddenly vanished into thin air. Bewildered, he looked over both hands before shouting, “I killed it!”
“You sent it back because you didn’t have need of it.”
“I did not!” Levi huffed, wheeling to face his older brother. Uh oh. Bad choice. He started back-peddling, but he was too late. Rook already snaked one hand around a sore wrist, keeping the pre-teen anchored in place.
“You little snake,” he hissed, towering over Levi, “you haven’t told Sable or Juno yet, have you?”
“I’ve never seen it before!” Leviathan exclaimed.
“What’s its name?” Rook drilled.
“I don’t know!” the boy replied, horribly confused. Rook grunted and gave him a solid shove, sending Levi to the stained carpet once more.
“Leave me alone!” Leviathan screeched, the Keyblade appearing in his hand once again. He jumped to his feet and swung at his older brother, nearly losing his balance as the experienced fighter quickly dodged the blow. He swung again, hoping to catch the Nobody in the legs or something, but once again failed as Rook neatly stepped aside.
“Go to your room,” Rook grumbled, watching the brightly-colored weapon warily.
Leviathan didn’t argue. He wheeled on his heel as soon as the order left Rook’s lips and quickly marched down the narrow hallway to his bedroom, slamming his door behind him. The stupid Nobody would probably tell his father some ridiculous lie about how he actually needed to be sent to his room –he’d never tell Sable he thought Leviathan was a Keyblader or he might risk losing his place as the object of Juno’s affection- and his father would probably be tired enough to believe him. Oh well.
The Keyblade vanished once more and Leviathan sighed, flopping onto his lumpy, unmade bed. He wished he knew how to control his new weapon. He’d be able to keep Rook at bay all the time. He bolted upright. Of course he knew how to control his weapon! He quickly slid off the bed and padded across the room to the bookshelf inundated with every type of literature out there. He looked at the third shelf, pulling out a large, worn text easily. Keyblader myths. One of his favorite books as a child, he’d read it almost every night until he was ten. Maybe if he read it again, he’d get some hint on how he should wield his new toy…er…weapon properly. Until then, there was no way he could tell Dad about it. He’d freak out and worry and monitor.
Plan all set in his head, he started shuffling towards his bed, already on page three of the book. He’d forgotten what a good read it was.
He’d be a proper Keyblader in no time…or something like that.

Levi, Sable, Rook and Saint are mine. Juno belongs to Teh Pandy. Rylenn belongs to Teh Bunnah Ninja and he belongs to Shinkami School of Saviors, which belongs to tooaya. The art of Sable and Rylenn are done by dtokki. The art of Saint is done by Teh Bunnah Ninja. The art of Rook and Juno are done by Teh Pandy. Oh right. Kingdom Hearts, Nobodies, Heartless and Keybladers and all that belong to Square Enix. The Secret Ansem Reports and Ansem Reports are from Kingdom Hearts II and can be found here or here.I think that's all. >_>;; Subject to change!
