I usually make back ends to games.

Such as scripts/administration applets for web-based RPGs, and I occasionally make custom loaders for other games that I'm not developing on.

I used to do programming for library files. Things like ".dat" files which are used in large games like Command and Conquer, SimCity, Halo, etc. Chances are, some of those big-name games just might have a few lines of my code somewhere in there!

Interestingly enough, PHP-based RPG games are usually just news managers or CMS scripts that are heavily modified to include things like user experience, points or currency, games, and forums.

The only difference between a RPG and a CMS in this sense, is how it's displayed to the user..

Mambo is a development project specialized in creating a Content Management System that allows modifications and themes to greatly change the way the content is portrayed to the user... RPG Mods are quite numerous here.

I've seen a similar program, RPG Maker XP (it was crap), but this seems to look very high end, I've never seen an isometric one before!
