The mythological creature of the angel originates from the Bible as many of us know. There they are servants of God and benign. However, in certain cases angels are depicted as evil. Example 1: His dark materials. In short, God was the first angel and lied to the other angels that he had created everything. In the third book of the trilogy, God dies. Metatron, another angel and his regent, takes over control and wishes to use the Church to rule the world. Angels are pure evil and even go to war with Lord Asriel, the father of the main character, Lyra. Example 2: In the videogame Tales of Symphonia the angels are an organisation that governs the world. The world has been split in two and one of the two world receives mana (magic energy), while the other loses it. Once in many years, a chosen one must reverse the cycle, meaning the world that's in rise and the one that's in decline swap roles. The angels govern and exploit the worlds. The main character, Lloyd, tries to get the worlds back together, but the angels try to stop him.
What do you guys think about this? I presume most people in here don't know His Dark Materials (probably a forbidden book, or whatever) or Tales of Symphonia. So go ahead, but be respectfull.

Its a great game but we cant always go to a game for spirtitual belifes for it is just a game. there are two beings angels and fallen angels (demons) so i guess you can say there are evil angels there just called by a different name.

NewFoundLight never heard of His dark materials, and to what end would you like to know our opinions on the subject? Well, what do you think about this? What does it make you feel? And in His Dark Materials the angels aren't fallen angels, but the real deal, so no demons, just like in Tales of Symphonia.
