Ok I thought this would be a good idea to have since there are only like....3 or 4 cons here in the midwest each year.
So the point of this thread is to post up, upcoming conventions and who will be attending that way we can plan our weekend/week out alittle better! biggrin
I'm not sure what the next Con is but I know Anime Iowa is coming up soon as well as Nebraskcon. If anyone knows of more post 'em up and we all might go.
So ok I said what I have to said...

I actually said no, cause I can't even make it to all the midwest ones, lol. Generally, try to make it to ACen, Anime Iowa, Reactor, out of state. I would like to try to make it to NakaCon next year, just seeing as it would be good promo time for OO.
As for next cons, yeah, AI will be the next big one that's fairly local. Bearing loss of limb, I will be going. Nebraskon has always been hard for me, because they usually have it right when my job starts blackout dates. =T So if I did go, it'd probably be a one day deal.

I think that’s the general feel that most of the staff will be heading off to Ai in august. Besides there are more cons that I thinking about checking out besides neb/naka/AI for this years con season here is a short list of some of the other Midwest cons I am looking at: Anime Festival Wichita, Nan Desu Kan, Sogen Con, Anime St. Louis, Anime Detour.

Sogen con might be nice. Not too far away either, what's the drive, like three/three and a half hours? If enough people were interested, I might look into it further.

I heard about this one Con . . . . it's called "Kingdom Con" and it's purely Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and Disney oriented. It won't be going on till Summer of 08' in St. Louis, MO. I love Disney stuff. =O Wish they had a set date already though. Especially since summer cons are fairly close to each other.
