Down any particular hallway, the school seemed the same through and through, even if there might be a potted plant here or one there, it was still the same as magic kept the normalcy, the balance of things. Yet within these depths was a man laden in deep study, working strenuous on a concoction that he had thought up in the midst of the night. It seemed that this job would be rather well for Altus, he could work all day and all night long as the thoughts kept rolling in. But then it hit him, he was here for other reasons than just creating amazing potions, he was here to teach such simpletons into prodigies. Potions were something he was born to do, yet teaching on the other hand... it may prove to be a tricky experiment all on its own. However, it was an adventure he was waiting to grasp a hold of. Perhaps one of them may get a passion for it just like him, and they could become his protege.

With that thought in mind, he decided now was a good enough time to open up his class. He was glad to have some preparation time in the morning, or he would of gone insane not brewing up anything new. It was a grand place to work, for everything in there could be used as an ingredient, a smirk came across his face as he used a few of the tables, grinding them into ashen pulp, for one of his brews. Having a magical class room was great indeed, for no students would know of what he had done, the chairs and tables already replaced themselves.

Click, the door became unlocked, and he opened it wide up to the clamoring life outside of his classroom. So many students, with so much future ahead of them, and yet he wondered how many of them would actually utilize this? How many would come to his classroom, wanting to know the way of potions, no... the way of life?

Altus moved back to his seat at front of the classroom, facing a solemn room of empty seats, if no one came, it would be okay, he would go back to the potions that still lingered with smoke on the left side of the classroom. As a moment passed, he placed his legs on his desk and leaned backwards, touching the chalkboard that was behind him. His eyes drifted off towards the right, where a window was, but it only lasted there for a second before he decided he would watch the door like a hawk. all the while wondering who was brave enough to take his class.

Raising an eyebrow, Seirin peeked around the corner of the door and back on her piece op paper.....This must be it then! thinking to herself as she peeked inside the room again. Odd smells were filling her senses and she felt a little lightheaded upon entering the class. Nodding slowly at what seemed to be the teacher she sat down and gazed around the room.

Immediately Altus became exalted, a student had wandered their way into his classroom, no they wanted to be in his classroom. His eyes lit up exuberant as ever, for in the bottom of the recess of his mind he had thought no one was going to take his class, and although he put it off as if he would of not cared, truthfully he would of. Now that he had his first student, he was so eagerly in getting started that he decided to dismiss the traditional 'waiting of the bell before starting class' and just jump right into it, which he took quite literally.

His chair fell forward, and with his legs on the table, he would either end up pushing his chair away from his desk or what he intended to do, lurching himself onto the desk itself. He stood high and mighty as he looked at her. His robes barely had time to cling themselves to him as he already started his next line of action, tossing his arms into the air as he shouted into the almost empty room, "Welcome to my class." His words were filled with so much charisma, as if his classroom was the place to be, of course to him it was.

"So," he brought his eyes across all of the empty seats, as if smiling at his imaginary crowd before he came across the true spectator, the girl. Now he focused every word on her, making her the sole attention of the world, "As you may know from the schedule, my name is Mr. Orienta, and I am your teacher..." he rested his hand against his chest and gave a small pause as if waiting for a hand clap, but his next outburst was so sudden it would have to have been a small applause, and would surely go unnoticed under his enthusiasm as he continued to speak. "So what does it meant to be a teacher?" Again he left no time for her to speak as he extended his arms outward and shaking them as he spoke loudly, "absolutely nothing!" A big smile was across his face now, and probably showed through every word that soon followed, "why, you may question me, and I will tell you just that." He cleared his throat as if a grand orator ready to give a famous speech, "you see we are all teachers in this life, but more importantly, we are all students in this life." A chuckle, "Not a day goes by that I do not learn something new, so I may be the biggest student of them all. With that said," he extended his index finger outwards to her, point with exclamation, "I expect not you to remember my last name, but my first!"

As suddenly as he started this whole shebang from the chair, he used it to finish it off, and hopped on the seat, with his right leg forward, which in turned cause his right leg to uplift the chair, and knock it into the chalk board. Exactly as he had planned, and without breaking to boot! Quickly he picked up the chalk, and leaned in the chair, keeping it stable against the wall, while he lurched the chalk forward. With quick rapid strokes, as if whipping someone, he used the entire length of the chalk board to spell out his name in all caps, 'ALTUS', as he came around to the s, he let it slide all the way across underlining the rest of his name. His hands once again extended far out as he shouted out to the classroom, "My name is Altus!" As he finished, he let his right leg go and put it on the seat of the chair, causing it to fall forward once again, this time he heard a small snap, come out from it, and almost took a spill, but shook it off absentmindedly as he continued on. "So," he paused as the chalk in his hand nimbly made it across his fingers as he twiddled it gently, once it reached up to his thumb and index finger, he grabbed hold of it and pointed it at her, "Are there any questions," he used his left hand in a halting gesture, or perhaps shunning the concoction brewing on the left side of the classroom, "besides about the potions?" His eyes peered hard into hers as he finished off, awaiting an answer from her. he would not let her go from a simple nod, no that'd be to easy. He wanted something that came from within her, for that was where potions came from. If any other students came in, he would merely calculate them in his mind, but now his sole attention was laid upon her.

[[as you can tell he's probably not going to be your normal day teacher, if he is, then wow... I wish I had your classes]]

Slightly overwhelmed by the spectacle that called himself Mr.Orienta, Seirin needed to blink a couple of times to make sure she wasn't attending some theater performance as she watched and followed his grand gestures and movements, him sending the chair nearly flying through the class room as he seemed only to be making an introduction that he was the teacher of this class. I hope he doesn't forget to breath though, cause if he collapses of lack of oxygen everyone is gonna be pointing at me, since I am the only one here at the moment..thinking to herself as she hears an ear deafening silence all of a sudden....He finished???...wow..and that after what?...nearly 15 minutes...must be a record or something?

Raising her hand after he had asked if anyone had a question she spoke..Do you always introduce yourself like that????...Or is today a special day and I missed it?

'YES!' He had gotten exactly what he wanted. 'She speaks!' He thought gleefully to himself. A person who asked questions was no mere puppet of life, no, they were someone who could seek and try to understand it. A very good first student. He could not help but brandish a smile on him as he spoke to her, "Actually this is my first class," his hands went directly to his sides giving a heroic pose as he continued, "So it is special, however, I wouldn't mind introducing myself like that again." His eyes drifted up towards the clock, "although I don't think we have time, we shall wait for another day, young ma'am." He said in such a way as if it truly was a tragic thing they could not do it once more. Still he had to get down to business and teach.

With that said he jumped off his seat and put the chalk down, and slapped his hands together, attempting to get off all the dust on his hand. Once he finally finished, he turned towards her. "So, we shall be starting this class soon," his eyes darted from seat to seat till they laid onto her again, "with or without rest of the class." A smile beamed across his face, "it will be there loss." His attention finally drifted off from her as he thought of how to continue the class.

A few seconds passed as not an idea but an overwhelming presence took over him, perhaps the 'great teacher' presence, which told him to dig through his desk. He followed his intuition, and pulled out an old and dusted book that looked like its only use was when it was bought from the store, and put into this desk. He lifted it up smugly and shook his head as he dropped it on the desk with a rather loud thud. It opened up to a random potion, with a long descriptive text on how to make it. Not only did it give step by step information, but it had 'exact' measurements. A little something in him started to steam up a bit. With a little firmer voice he spoke out, "student's, get our books." His face was no more brandish with a smile, but a fierce look.

May I just say that you are the oddest teacher I ever encountered without offending you?...says with a soft smile on her lips as she takes her book out of her bag and lays it on the table. Flipping the pages, she had a vague notion that this class might be more complicated than she had thought..Oh well, lets see where this goes then...thinking to herself as she closed the book again and looked up at the teacher waiting for him to start class.

A smile spread across his face, 'odd' that he was, but it was only because the normalcy of the world was too strict for his taste. Perhaps it might be a little harder for her to learn the ways of potion, but with time all things are possible. "Yes indeed," he fashioned his arms against his hips, "I am odd, but", his right hand moved up and started shaking it in a point, to state his case, "sometimes being odd lets you experience things no one else has, and that is exactly what this class is abo-"

His eyes turned to the young man who had just walked in. Had the person not said anything, Altus would of never even noticed him, sometimes focusing on one thing alone was not the wisest course. However he was quite pleased with the new comer who called him 'teach'. This young man, could he be what he was looking for? Someone who did not follow the rules of everyone else, but followed his own? A person who had already took a grasp of life? Perhaps he could be, but as he saw him sit in the back he started to wonder, maybe this man did have the potential to be his protege, but did he put it to use? There was only one way to find out.

His hands extended out greatly, "Welcome to my classroom," his voice still rung out just as before, but he did not exceed his last introduction, no there was no time for that. "Please, get out your text book from your desk," he paused for a second and looked at all the empty seats. A gleeful glimmer twinkled in his eyes, "actually, both of you, get out the books from every class, and create two piles, one for each of you." Such an odd request he was sure, but it was barely the tip of the iceberg, however for now he had to make sure they complied with what he said. "Consider this your first assignment, if you do not get the books out," a grim frown came about, "you'll flunk."

All my books?..What kind of odd request is that?..Oh well.....Seirin shrugged and started to pull out all of her books and put them in two piles as requested. Looking behind her she motioned Senshi to do the same.

"Forgive me if I'm a bit rude, but, this seems slightly pointless." The emerald green lizard slid across the floor, dragging behind a messenger bag. Down her back ran long and elegant feathers, somewhat out of place on the reptile. As it hopped into a seat near the front, there was a poof of heavily scented smoke, a young girl now in place of the lizard.

Her eyes were abnormally cold and still, pupils thin slits. "There is no use at bringing out our books, since we only need one for this class. And even then, wouldn't be better to teach us with hands on experiments, rather than reading from a dusty old book?"

"Finally!" Altus shouted out of the top of his lungs making it sound so abrupt and powerful as it filled the room. Once he finished he realized how spontaneous that must have been, yet he was not awkward about it, he had finally stumbled upon a student that had met his standard. Someone who did not want to read out of textbooks, but wanted to get a hands on experience, this was exactly what one must do!

"You are exactly right, student" he gave her a questioning look as he started to wonder what her name really was, but dismissed it, 'student' was fine enough for now. He stepped back on top of his desk as he looked at them all, His hand raised high once more with his right hand extending the book outwards. "You see, this book is meaningless, useless. Anyone can copy words and sayings and put it to use, but you'll never learn anything out of it. You will never be able to create anything out of it. It is just useless space, something that will earn more dust in your head than upon this book. No instead students, we shall not be doing that. We shall not give into what society depicts as the correct way of learning. No, there shall be no books about potions allowed in this class." Just as he said that he flung the book as hard as he could outside the window. A loud clashing sound could be heard as the shards of glass shattered about.

Altus head turned peered more fiercely into his students ayes as he waited for the noise to calm down. "We shall learn by feeling, by truly feeling the experience of potions. So without further ado, I shall give you the reason I have told you to gather your books into two piles. We shall be having a test, a test of your dedication."

He looked at the three piles before him, and scratched his head, there was three of them and only two piles... he had not counted on more students, but alas, it was okay, he had a way to solve it. With a vial of potion quickly pulled out of his sleeve, he opened it up, green smoke came out of it as he looked towards the books. "Three can not share two, so this shall help you!" With a quick toss the vial spilled over the books, and in an instant they turned into three piles.

"Pick your pile quickly students, for this test shall be timed. You will have exactly one minute to rid this fine teaching room of those miserable texts." He looked up at the clock, "A second off, we'll see what grade you will get, but for the person who completes it, you shall receive a reward well worth your time." The minute hand reached the twelve, "Now go!"

Laughing out loud now at the teachers behaviour, Seirin took her pile of books, grabbed in her bag to pull out some matches...well, you can tell the Headmistress why my books are gone then...saying loudly as she lit the match and put her pile of books on fire. Watching them slowly turn into a little pile of ashes, she waved the smoke towards the broken window.
