This is a poem I wrote when I was depressed. Oddly enough... I think I like it.
Shatter
Look into the looking glass
tell me what you see
beauty, love, hatred,
Darkness, light,
slave, or free
Then realize that all of life is just a fantasy
close your eyes punch
A life shattered for all to see

There is no need to cut yourself short. There are people out there that will cut you short of credit no matter how great or poor you do. So when you do good its okay to see that, and with poetry, even if someone said it sucked they don't know. To each his/her own. I mean my mom thinks Poe is junk and I love him... she like this frilly chick poet.. I dislike that frilly chick poet... to each his/her own....
hehehe, give yourself a pat on the back.. hehehe I giggled inside thinking about saying that.. xd shwoot.

Hey, i think that poem was really good. I can definitely relate to it. It feels like the world just shatters around you and when we can't handle reality we escape to our fantasy world, i used marijuana at first to escape to fantasy but it doesnt help and it's not worth it. I can definitely relate to your poem and it was a really good poem with good choice of words in it to describe your feeling, and it rhymes well
