Okay since the regular forums are slightly dead and since the guild forums is pretty active I have a question to all users/ attendees here what do want from us staff members to host or create for next years con.

Ummmmmmmmmm for next year.....How about a Boffle Tournament?
At least I think that would be a interesting idea!
But then you would need people so sign wavers and other such nonsense...

I am the director of human resources and dealers room liaison for Otaku Omaha and I go by the name Demon Prince Sarbo (Ben). The boffle/ larp tournament is on the list to bring up next staff meeting.

Hm, I have a suggestion..how about more food and stuff for the 'consuite'? Also...there was this rather freaky sailor moon cosplayer at the con..(and yes..it was a guy cosplaying from sailor moon)(and no..this isn't a suggestion..but he was..oddDX

Yeah I do admit that the consuite selection was limited do to the budget, also considering that the consuite was open to the public in a sense its kind of. While the VIP lounge had a more select variety of food and drinks to choose from. I still have nightmare about that almost as bad as sailor buba/ man Faye ones, also he change his outfit to sailor Saturn for the masquerade.

Waivers would be easy though. If it is a thesible idea, we'll probably release a simple form on the website. Fill it out/have a parent or guardian fill it out, voila. All ready to get the crap beat out of you with styrofoam.
Hopefully, the budget will be a little better for this year. At least, if we stay at the Carlisle, since now we won't have to buy a few items that we needed for the first year.

Anime Idol would be a good idea. Only thing would be trying to get people to donate the soundtracks for the instrumental tracks, unless they would rather sing along.
As far as food eating contests go, most i've seen done is ramen. Sushi, while it sounds fun, could be um...bad. Even if only a few people entered, the amount we would need, at a cost effective point of view as well, might compromise the quality, and I wouldn't want attendees running around that we accidentally poisoned. sweatdrop

BUt how about a POCKY eating contest?! And as for anime idol......singing along isn't bad!
