Well, when I say 'New Akatsuki' I mean, those just introduced in Shippuden. Deidara, Sasori, Zetsu, etc. Now, the only exception to this rule would probably be SakuraxSasori in my opinion.
I bring this up because I have fallen madly for DeiSaku and DeiTen. But as far as I can see, it probably wouldn't work. They're enemies, and apparently all of the Akatsuki have no intention of leaving the Akatsuki, and the others have shown no reason to leave their villages. Therefore, 'Instant Crack'?

Well it is crack in a sense that for now, is not possible. But it is plausible.
For example, in Sakura's case since the kyuubi is being targeted they could kindnap Sakura and use her as bait. And thus, a relationship between the members could develop. This is popular in AkatsukixSakura fics.
So in a way, it is crack but at the same time is not an impossible crack. Of course, I doubt it will ever happen.

I've brought up the possility of Sakura getting kidnapped multiple times in other discussions, and as you mentioned, is used quite a bit for fanfics and other types of fanworks. It's a possible plot line, but for some reason, I doubt that the Akatsuki would be going for Naruto until they have the rest of the tailed beasts. They may go for Naruto if he's there at a convenient time, but until then, I believe they'd save him for last. I apologize for going off topic there. sweatdrop

From what I've read in the manga, they will save Naruto for last since the kyuubi is the last of the bijuu. But they will use all of them.
Still, I love AkaSaku fics. They are very interesting and challenging to develop. I've always thought that ItaSaku fics are probably the hardest pairing to develop and yet keep everyone OC. 3nodding

I love DeiSaku, SasoSaku, TobiSaku, ItaSaku, and even LeaderSaku. >.>
But Leader looks best with Blue-Hair, so i'll leave it at that. ^-^

TobiHina doesn't really click to me...in fact, only Hinata crack pairing that does click for me is SasuHina.
But Sakura pairings in Akatsuki ALWAYS click...it just has to be the pink hair...o.O
And of course...I'm ALL for the ItaSakuDei triangle!! heart
