The maternity ward is decorated in a more pleasant style than the rest of the infirmary, in order to make the Mothers to be more comfortable. Despite it's pleasant appearance, it is a state of the art facility with everything needed to ensure a safe birth for both the mother and child.

Ana and Sanc helped Elec into the maternity ward. Ana looked around. "Hello? Is anyone here?"

Nurse Melody came out of her office. "Yes? What do you..." She stopped as she noticed the obviously pregnant woman being carried between to others. Her demeanor became brisk, but friendly. "Put her on the bed over there."

Ana and Sanc carefully laid Elec down on the bed. Sanc went to Elec's side and held her hand tightly. He looked down at her and gently brushed some hair back from her face. He looked up at the nurse. "Will...will she be ok?"
Ana stood a bit to the side, put a comforting hand on Sanc's shoulder.

He looked up at the nurse. "Will...will she be ok?" Ana stood a bit to the side, put a comforting hand on Sanc's shoulder. Elec looked up to sanc and smiled as best she could. Her voice was strained as she spoke because of the contractions. "I-I'll be fine."

Nurse Melody gave Sanc a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "She isn't the first woman to have a baby, young man. She'll be just fine." She turned to Maddie and Ana. "Now, I need you to go wait out in the hallway please. I'll come let you know as soon as the little ones are here. Now, shoo!" Her tone was friendly, but final. She turned to Sanc. "Now, as for you young man. You can stay. As long as you promise not to faint on me. I don't need two patients here. The first sign that it's too much for you and out you go. Understand?"
((You don't really need to move to the hallway Maddie. Just keep posting in this thread and say you did.))

Ana nodded and leaned over to kiss Elec on the forehead. "You'll do great hun. I just know it." She turned and headed out into the hallway, leaning against the wall.
Sanc looked at the nurse and nodded, a determined expression on his face. "I understand. I'll be fine." He looked down at Elec, his eyes full of love and pride. "I'm going to stay at her side through it all."

Nurse Melody began to prep Elec for delivery. She looked at Sanc as he spoke to Elec and her expression softened for a moment before once more becoming brisk and professional. She positioned herself at the foot of the bed and gave Elec a reassuring smile. "Alright dear, let's bring these babies into the world."
Over then next several hours Nurse Melody and Sanc helped Elec through the pains of birth. Nurse Melody dealing with the physical aspects, and Sanc simply being there to support and comfort her.
The birth went surprisingly smoothly. After only eight hours of labor, and a minimum of pain, Elec gave birth to two perfectly healthy babies.
After Nurse Melody had cleaned the babies, she carefully laid them in Elec's arms. Her strictly professional demeanor was gone as she smiled warmly at Elec. "Say hello to your babies dear." She said gently.

Elec smiled widely as she held her babies. She was worn out but so happy. Happy to see her kids and happy it was all over. She held the kids in her eyes smiling back ad forth between them. She spoke to the kids calmly and gently.

Sanc's eyes were filled with happy tears as he gazed down at his wife and children. He gently reached out his hand to touch each baby's cheek. "Oh....babe....they're beautiful." His hand went to her cheek. "Just like you." He leaned down and kissed her tenderly and then settled onto the bed beside her, resting his head on her shoulder and gazing in wonder at the miracles in her arms. "I love you so much Elec."

She smiled at Sanc and jerked her head slightly to get a peice of hair out of her face. "I love you to hun." She couldn't help but smile. Elec was very worn out and had begun to doze off, nto yet though, she made herself stay awake, but she was tired.
