This is where everything takes place in the village. Most of the children are playing with their fairies not far behind.
-- RP TIME --
Cole walked around the Kokiri village with his spear in a quiver on his back and a bow across the other direction. With his hood up and his blonde hair flowing through the hood, Cole walked up to one of the other Kokiri. " Eve, did you ever find that Rope I asked you to find before? " Cole said as his fairy Pum with a purple glow came rushing toward him. " Yeah. I just hope it will help. The Deku Tree looks to be getting worse. " Eve said as Cole grabbed the rope and smiled as Pum sounded like he was panting. " I found... people. " Pum said as Cole smiled as he headed toward the Deku Tree.

"Yeah, I'm sure that the Kokiri would be better." Max said to Colton. "I mean, why bother going through all of the trouble of switching our destination? It's a bit too far off track, especially if Cole and Pum said was true about all of Hyrule being in mortal danger." Max said it like it was nothing, of course.
There were a few large trees marking the path to Kokiri Village. Max had once ran an errand here to deliver medicine for his father. "I'm guessing karma's being good to me..." Max said, aloud. "For once." Finally, the group approached a large, hollowed-out log. There was a bridge on the other opening. The group walked inside, and stepped onto the rickety rope bridge. Then, approaching a second hollowed-out log, Max peered inside to see Fairies, like Pum, flying around. But no Kokiri.
"Hello? Can anybody here help me out? I'm looking for---" Max was calling out to the Fairies, about to ask for Pum and Cole, when suddenly, a Kokiri girl seemingly popped out of nowhere. She faded in completely when Max approached close enough.
"Who are you looking for, friends?" The young Kokiri girl said. She had blonde hair that was right above her shoulders. Suprisingly, Max had longer hair than her. She was wearing a green tunic and was grinning up at Max. She was a great deal shorter than him, but most likely older than the whole group.
"Uhhh... Do you know of Pum and---"
"Drat, I hate that Fairy. Cole is nice, but his Fairy annoys the Hell out of me." The innocent looking girl with a grin on her face suddenly turned into an angry demon. "Uhh, I heard they went to the Great Deku Tree. But I don't suggest going back there. The Great Deku Tree is ill, and---"
Max cut her off and just continued walking. "Sorry, but I'm in a hurry." Max said, waving and smiling as he started to jog a little bit. I wonder how Cole's doing...

"Yo." Rednal said, raising a hand in greeting as he passed the girl behind Max. "He's always like that. Don't worry about him." Chuckling slightly, he followed Max, and after a few moments, caught up to him. "By the way, do you have anything that vaguely resembles a plan?" the Hylian Priest inquired curiously. He could probably come up with one if it was really necessary, though he rather hoped this situation wasn't so troublesome that it was necessary. Why was the Deku Tree so important to Hyrule, though, anyway?

Cole looked at the four of them with a smirk. " What the hell are you doing here outsiders. Finally decided to help the little people. " Cole said as he jumped down and approached them. " The forest is slowly dying. All thanks to you. "

"Since when is this our fault?" Seya snapped as she heard the Kokiri boy's question. "Your asking us for help doesn't make this our fault! Our problem, yes, but not our fault. There's a difference!"
Though she had been quiet most of the journey here, simply happy to get away from that strange stone and the no-man's land, Cole's comment was enough to send her into "don't-you-dare-talk-bad-about-my-friends-because-I've-got-a-new-weapon-that-I-wanna-try-out" mode. She fingered the wooden shafts of the arrows, but bit her lip. They surely would not be welcome if she did anything like the thoughts going through her head...
Managing to control the anger, she pulled back, trying to move away from Cole. She didn't like him. She considered Max and Rednal friends already(this tends to happen when you go through the sort of stuff Seya had recently gone through), and she was willing to do almost anything to help them.
Just as long as it didn't involve fire.

(Max is coming back from Jersey Shore shortly. He'll return in just a few hours to manage the guild once again.)

[[I'm teh back! =D]]
"Listen, you a**." Max growled to Cole. He usually didn't use this sort of language, but he was pretty pissed. "Don't friggin' push the blame on us. If you're so tough, why don't you just do it yourself?" Max spat at the ground, in Cole's general direction. "Or, you can always come down from your little hiding spot up there and fight me." Max was eager to kick some tail now, his adrenaline count was skyrocketing.

Colt laughed for a moment. Not a laugh out of humor, but one out of the pure need to laugh. This one guy was just too damn selfish for Colt to like him all that much. "It's our fault because we did what exactly? Max, I've got your back here."
He shook his head sadly and crossed his arms. "Or we could just get what we need to get done, done."

Cole fired an arrow at Max's foot as he jumped out of the tree with a spear in his hand. " You guys ruined the forest by expanding. And by expanding, you brought the evil around here. The Gerudo King was finally reached when the Hylians finally reached their Fortress. Now that he has power, the monsters are destroying everything. Everything leads right back to the Hylians. " Cole said as he Cole held his spear in the middle as he spun it toward Max's face.

"I haven't a clue what you're talking about..." Max grunted quickly evading the second arrow with a quick sidestep to his left. "... But, I won't let you go off on a rampage!!" Max pulled out his Gilded Sword and swung it at Cole. Of course, he didn't want to kill Cole, he just wanted to knock him out or something. He had the flat edge of the sword in front, so the attack was with a blunt weapon, not a sharp one that could decapitate him. Mid swing, Max called out to the rest of his troupe. "Quick! Get information on what's happening, and fix it up! I have to take care of this maniac!!"

Cole looked at him and giggled. " Oh. A shiny sword. You think that will stop me. " Cole said as he stabbed straight at Max's face as he tried to take out Max's knees with his bow. " You are deep in the woods now. I need to see if you are even strong enough to defeat whetever is in that temple. "

"Careful with that!" Colt said, both glaring at Cole and sidestepping a misfired arrow. He signaled for the rest of them to follow him into the village so they could discuss with some of the Kokiri what exactly was happening with the forest and more specifically, the Deku Tree. Colt was eager for a good fight, but this was Max's battle, and he seemed more than capable to take care of it.

"Don't think I've never been in worse places." Max said, taking his sword and smacking it against the steel point on the tip of Cole's spear, then purposefully dropping the sword, without completely losing his grip, to block Cole's attack on his knee. Unharmed, Max rose up and quickly ran backwards a few steps. "As much as I didn't want to do this, and as much as I love trees and whatnot..." Max bent down on one knee, and prepared a Din's Fire Spell. Max struck the dirt below him with his fist and a sphere of fire encircled him. The fire expanded in size until it eventually wore off and disintegrated. Hopefully, this damaged Cole while also damaging his weapons. Oddly enough, all of the trees in the environment were fine. Puzzled as he was, Max continued to keep a straight face and continue with the fight seriously.

For a moment Seya was caught between two sides. One was the side telling her to listen to Max and go gather information. The other was the one teling her to shoot the Kokiri full of arrows and to hell with the consequences.
She swayed on the spot for a moment, not entirely sure which way she was going to go.
But finally after a good bit of indecision she decided making a Kokiri pincushion was a bad idea, and- rather unwillingly- followed Colt. As she turned and left, she hoped both of the fighters knew what they were doing. Much as she disliked Cole, the Forest Children would not be happy if one of their number was seriously hurt or killed. And if Max were badly hurt... well, considering Seya's anger management issues, there'd probably be a decent bit more red in the Forest.
When she heard the fire (oddly enough, she didn't seem to be able to feel any heat) Seya had to control herself and not look back. She was fairly sure if she did, then the violent side would get its wish. Still, her hand went to the quiver of arrows, and her grip tightened on the wood of her short bow. Knowing both were there was oddly reassuring.

"It's his fight. I'm sure he'll be fine," Colt reassured Seya. "The guy's paranoid, and deserves whatever is comin' to him. Come on, we have to hurry and figure out what's happening." He quickened his pace until finally stepping foot into the rather quiet village. It was an eerie quiet, as if something were horribly wrong. He spotted a boy with a hat attempting to lift a rather heavy rock and gave him a hand.
"Do you think you could tell us exactly what's happening with the Deku Tree? We were hearing some rather nasty rumors that something or someone was destroying it, and were hoping to give you all a hand."
