It wasn't hard to hide from the world- Eeel knew that especially well. He hated others, and found since youth that life was about being back-stabbed. He had been thrown about, beat up, and mistreated ever since birth, and now finally in a respectable older state, he would do the same deeds on to others that deserved it. He didn't feel pity or sadness, but only a constant anger, since the world only brought about hate and misfortune to those who didn't deserve it.

His eye was a proof of this, and his father blinded it when he was compared to his brother. He had lost a fight- and when his brother was proclaimed the hero, and worthy being, Eeel was casted out in to a life of nothingness. Eeel would never be good enough in any aspect, and it was that outlook on life that he let himself strive through. Nowadays he didn't care- since he didn't need anyone else to compare himself to. His life was simple, he didn't want or need ANYTHING. Sometimes, he didn't even want life.

With a yawn, the speckled male stood up and stretched, and looked forward to another day were he was ALONE.

Bzz bzz.. Twitch!

Zosime dangled her body through the forest, hiding in the shadows for the most part. All her life she had been laughed at, since her sparks were a monstrosity! Despite the evil looks, she was actually quite kind, but found it impossible for others to accept her like that. Why she had been 'blessed' with sparks on her body, she would never know. What she did know was, that it plagued her since childhood, and now even in adulthood.

Lonliness had been a way of life when she was little- thrown out into the wilderness was not a fun memory for her. Luckily, her appearance seemed to worry preys, and even THEY refused to eat her for her sparking body.

That only meant that she was more worthless then food, or a prey! She would cry at night when rejected by even death itself.

With a sigh, the mysterious female clamped her paws at the ground as she walked, twitching every few moments, some sparks being bigger, while others were contained.

Eeel scrounged around the area, looking for a small snack of berries or healthy leaves. He didn't feel like meat, and the effort it took to kill just didn't seem worth it rght now. He was really exhausted for some reason, so the thought of exherting a ton of energy was out of the question.

The area he lived in was far back in the forest, where the sun barely leaked in, and at night it was pitch black. It was a perfect area for him, barely ANYONE ever came back there, and it was so eerie and dark that many animals also stayed away. It was the perfect place for his lonesome self, and it proved a comfortable living for many months of his life.

Nature-growth was so hard to find, but he still would get lucky when he searched hard enough. He wandered away from his comfortable nest, and sniffed around for anything he could find.

Despite to Eeel's knowledge, another lived in that area of the forest- though on an opposite side.

Zosime also found it the perfect place for her to hide from others, since she couldn't handle the pain of eyes and remarks. Her little body fumbled to stay calm, and she twitched back and forth as she kept moving. She was looking around for a particular stream where fish and such were present, and in her dopey mind she had forgotten the exact location!

As the wandering of minutes went by, she was relieved to feel a coolness in the air arrive, which brought the realization that the stream was close! She kept her nose up in the air, sniffing for familiar scents in the area. Yes, this was it!

Ignoring her spasming body, she shifting into a little run, only out of excitement since she had found her stream again. She didn't fail at all aspects, it seemed.

A low growl emitted from his throat, and Eeel knew he sensed someone close by. This was new, in the many months he had kept himself sheltered here, he had NEVER sensed or heard anything else.

He wasn't nervous, or afraid in anyway, but he was extremely confused, and almost angry at the situation. This was HIS area, and he did NOT like the idea of another being around.

He increased his speed, feeling little bushes and brushes scratch against his body as he moved. His one eye was leading him somewhere, and he carefully scoped out exactly where he was going. "This is ridiculous!" He said, still pissed off at the presence. Soon enough though, he would discover what was bothering him.

And, if needed, he would dispose of it quickly.

Zosime, who was not the brightest of hunters, had no idea that Eeel was fast approaching the situation. Slurping up water from the stream, she had her ears back bent, and was completely blissed by the cool water in her mouth.

Simple things made her happy, and she was enthralled to be around such a pretty atompshere. It was a little oasis, and the sun beamed down through the heavy brush, allowing for plantlife to grow and strive. She loved all of the flowers that grew around her, and she sighed happily, rolling on to her back playfully to relax.

This was prefect, and she breathed in deeply for a few moments in the silence of the area.

Eeel stopped himself in a small bush, and stuck his eye out through a small hole. The entire area seemed new to him, and he never realized such a bountiful piece of land existed. He noticed all of the plantlife and berries, and felt his stomach grumble at the thought.

But, what really stood out to him was the black female, who seemed to be sparking and gleaming. She was rolling in the flowers and laughing, completely off in her own world. For a few more minutes he watched her, until he noticed her get back up again, only to approach the body of water. He noticed many details about her- her crystal blue eyes, and her strange mix of a body.

So many things came to his own mind, and he could easily attack this creature, and probably have a decent meal for awhile to come. But.. she seemed to be.. electric, so would he be damaged if she wanted it so?

He shook his head angerly and left the bush, approaching the female from the side now. "Enjoying yourself, now?" Ah, he could just decide what he wanted to do as the moment went on.

With a horrible gasp, Zosime turned her body to face the scary male behind her. She was COMPLETELY trapped, with a body of water in front of her, and the male behind. Such a terrible twist of fate.. where did this guy come from?!

She kept herself silent, and inched herself closer to the water. Her sparks on her body were flaring, and she was so nervous it was uncontrollable. To everyone's suprise, her sparks were really harmless, and only expressed her constantly nervous nature. The more calm she was, the less she twitched and sparked, but the more nervous she was- it was a complete mess!

The only thing that worried her about the body of water.. was that she couldn't swim. It wasn't the electricity that would hurt her, since the sparks were more of a habit if anything, but her body just didn't know how to place itself in the water.

This seriously was a horrible twist of events, and she cringed at the male, completely worthless in front of him.

Eeel lifted his eyebrow and observed the female. Was she mute, or just horribly afraid?

From the looks of it, she just looked completely shocked. Wasn't she around others all the time? Why should she be afraid of a male, he highly doubted that she lived out in this area by herself. No females ever did such a thing.

He started to move his body slowly, only to move closer to her now. She really was a pretty face, and he kept his glare and beamed in on frightening her more. This really was too easy.. but he was incredibly confused for the time being.

Why was this female so unpredictable? It made him a bit worried in a sense.

Zosime felt her eyes water, she never bothered anybody, and now this male was bothering her?!

"Please, just leave me alone.." She backed her paws up, and felt the water's edge right by her back foot.

It was a hard decision, but it seemed like the only way out, since she didn't know anything about the male or his motives. Maybe it was stupid, but it was the only chance she had, even though she was petrified of swimming. With a huge gasp, and a tear drop on her face, Zosime jumped into the water, only to fail and struggle, feeling her head bob down every few seconds.

It just.. kept getting deeper..

But seriously, did it even matter anymore? She had a nice day until the male arrived, that was good enough for her.. a nice way to..end.

Eeel's first reaction was to assume she could swim, but when he saw her struggle, he ran up to the water's edge. What was this female doing? WHY couldn't she swim?!

He watched her, sweating at the struggle she was going through. But what made him most angry, was he watched her give up, and at her last bob of the water, he watched one of her blue eyes meet his, and the female looked gorgeous.

Eeel jumped into the water, and swam down only to catch her, and he grabbed her by his paw, mouth, or anything to make sure that she was back in the air again. The female jumped and struggled, especially since she must have thought he had jumped in to catch her, but then he noticed her look at him, more in wonderment now, since she had been saved.

When Eeel made it to the shallow area, he pushed the female so she was out of the water first, and he watched her stumble before hitting the solid ground. Her body was shivering, and she was twitching uncontrollably again.

Eeel was still confused himself, and he walked up next to her after shaking himself off, and saw her shivering in fright. "Are you going to be alright?"

"I don't understand.." she kept mumbling, "Why did you, why did I.." She stood up abrubtly and looked at him, with her eyes flaring. "WHY didn't you just let it end!?"

She backed away from him and rolled her eyes somewhere else on the ground, almost ashamed by how she was acting. This was the most she had spoken to anybody, and it was a complete stranger at that. But still, why would he do all of those things? Why couldn't he just leave her alone in the first place, things could have continued as they were. And, even if she had drowned, she would have been content by such.

Eeel sighed and curled on the ground by the female. He still didn't know anything about her, but one thing he could tell was that her life had been tough.

"You shouldn't look at it that way, because whether you think so or not, things always get better. Even if one day its sunnier outside, or a berry is sweeter, its just a reminder that things are going ok for ya." He had never opened up like this before, but he felt the need to for the sake of the female. "Don't think your the only one who wants to give up all the time.." Life was interesting like that, having two similars meet in such a way.

He eyed her now, since before he was too embarassed to look at her. "Why are you alone.. miss?" Oh crud, he still didn't know her name either! "My name is Eeel.." He snorted, since he HATED doing this stuff.

"My name is Zosime.." she sniffled for a second but then rubbed her face on her paw. "But I don't understand, you sound just like I do?" She looked at him and flushed, also being one who was very socially awkward.

"You were so tough and stuff before, that now you are suddenly opening up about it? How do you expect me to believe that?" She eyed him suspiciously and sighed. "Of couse I am thankful that you saved me but, I guess I am just too confused right now. I thought I was like, your prey or something. And if that's stil the case, congratulations, here's your prey. Or, if I am not even good enough to be that, then just leave me be, seriously."

She just wasn't in the mood to deal with his games, and she sulked and glared, still twitchy from earlier.
